Short Description With its welding torch-like flames and chain-whip tail, the Armorwing keeps enemies at bay long enough for it to attract new scraps of metal to its magnetic body and fuse them into an ever-expanding coat of armor. The Armorwing's fire is also incredibly bright, as it is able to temporarily disorient the vision of other dragons and humans. Physical Features

Physical Description
Egg
The Armorwing egg is small and round, with a rough surface. Fragments and scraps of metal are fused to the shell for protection. Hatchling to Adult
This dragon has a tan-coloured head similar to that of a Monstrous Nightmare, as noted by its under-bite, nasal horn between two large nostrils, bulging yellow eyes and a pair of twisted horns. While its body is soft and unprotected like that of a Boneknapper, this dragon collects and fuses metal to its skin. Primary areas protected are its chest, neck, and tail. The Armorwing looks like a mix between a Monstrous Nightmare, a Boneknapper and a Sword Stealer, combined. Titan Wing
While the appearance of this dragon does not change as drastically as other dragons do, the Titan Wing Armorwing has lime green skin and seems to take a liking to collecting sharper scraps of metal and fusing them along its neck. It also appears to have longer wing bones.
Abilities & Weaknesses
Abilities
Magnetic Body The Armorwing's body is magnetic, causing any objects containing iron to be attached before being welded by its flames. The magnetic field is very strong, as not even a muscular man can de-attach an object from the dragon's body without considerable effort.
Firepower The Armorwing's blinding flames are incredibly bright, often emitting sparks, and are able to disorient the vision of other dragons. This causes their vision to be foggy, dim, and hard to focus temporarily. Their fire is hot enough to melt and fuse metals to its body. The fire's consistency is similar to that of a Deadly Nadder, though it has the same elements that compose a Night Fury's blast. The flames are bright yellow with a purple base.
Metal Armor Unlike the Boneknapper which hoards dragons bones and uses them, this dragon is able to make armor out of metal by welding it together on its vulnerable, non-scaly skin. The characteristic is also shared by the Sword Stealer. Their armor is said to be 'ever-expanding', with these dragons constantly adding to their collection of scrap metals. The Armorwings also fuse metal on their egg, in order to protect them.
Flaming Metal Projectiles The Armorwing is able to turn the metal on its body into flaming projectiles by simply setting them ablaze before flinging them to its targets. However, these powerful attacks can slowly expose the Armorwing's scaleless body, which is why it uses them very rarely.
Weaknesses
Due to its soft scales, an Armorwing is vulnerable without its metal armor. This makes them potential victims to Smothering Smokebreaths, a species of dragon that collects metal. When left without armor, an Armorwing would seem hopelessly fragile and vulnerable, often flailing aimlessly and refusing to take off. A single shot aimed for a scaleless portion of its body can easily knock an Armorwing out of the sky, leaving it unable to fly for a long period of time.
Behavior & Training
Personality Armorwings spend a lot of time searching for metal scraps and adding them to their piles of metal — from goblets to axes. Due to their dependency on these materials, they guard them closely, often appearing as fiercely territorial. When approached, they will not hesitate to defend themselves and their precious loot of metals. In addition to its hostility, this dragon prefers living alone. Unlike many dragons that live in packs or swarms, this dragon is said to enjoy being alone with its treasures. Training Not much is known about training Armorwings, but like most dragons, bonding with them requires trust. While they appear aggressive and somewhat stand-offish, helping them again and proving yourself as no threat will assure them that the human is trustworthy.

Short Description This Mystery Class scavenger covers itself in bones to shield its delicate body. Its choice of armor makes it unpopular with other Dragons! The Boneknapper is well-protected in its armor while it gets close and delivers a potent stream of fire to its fleeing opponents. Physical Features
Bone armor
Clubbed tail
Colors
Pale green with white bones as armor
Physical Description
Egg
The Boneknapper's egg appears to be fragments and parts of bone, plated and fused together to form an egg. However, it is unlikely that the eggs are made of real bone, which is similar in composition to an eggshell. Hatchling to Adult
Boneknappers are built in a similar birdlike manner as the Deadly Nadder, albeit much larger and less nimble. Their natural coloration seems to be a dull olive-green and gray, though it can be hard to see under their armor of bones.
Unlike most dragons, which have hard scales to protect themselves from enemies, Boneknapper scales are thin and soft. To counter this weakness, Boneknappers cover themselves in the bones and horns of dead dragons and other animals. As a form of defense, they can use a huge concentration of bones, forming a club at the end of their tail to disarm or injure opponents. Titan Wing
The Titan Wing Boneknapper has orange, pinkish skin with many brown dots on its wings. They still retain their bone armor and most bones remain the same. However, the clubbed end of its tail becomes a smaller, sharp dragon skull. As with most Titan Wings, the Boneknapper increases a lot in size when it reaches this stage of growth.
Abilities & Weaknesses
Abilities
Bone Armor The Boneknapper's main objective is to collect bones to protect itself. The Boneknapper is known to create skeleton armor from the bones of other dragons. As their armored body can protect them from attacks for great defense. They are also able to create a club tail out of bones for smashing their opponents. Sometimes, this bone armor can be essential for the dragon to perform basic actions, such as roaring. The Boneknapper will often go to extreme lengths to find the bones it seeks, hunting down the fragments for years.
Strength and Combat Due to their large size, Boneknappers display an amazing level of strength. They are able to wear bones of dragons as armor, as well as carry the weight of seven Vikings and a sheep on their body with no sign of struggle.
Thundering Roar Boneknappers have the ability to make a powerful roar that needs a special piece of bone, acting as a throat bone on its body in order to be released. This roar can also be used as a mating call that can attract others of their kind.
Stealth Despite their large size and their armor of bones, Boneknappers are very stealthy dragons, for they are able to sneak up on their prey without making any noise.
Weaknesses
Without their bone armor, the Boneknapper is as weak as a boneless chicken and is vulnerable to their enemies attacks. If one bone that is required for its armor is missing, the Boneknapper also loses its ability to roar.
Behavior & Training
Personality Boneknappers, due to their dependency on bones, spend a lot of time looting piles of dragon bones for the perfect pieces of armor. While they can spend years pursuing a single piece of bone, it is evident that these dragons are extremely determined and are perfectionists when it comes to maintaining their armor.
It is also confirmed that as long as their objectives to collect perfect bone pieces is fulfilled, Boneknappers can be very calm and friendly towards human beings. Training According to Gobber, to train a Boneknapper, one must give it whatever it desires. It will then become like "an overgrown puppy dog".

Short Description Once roaming across the Archipelago in large herds, the Buffalord now lives a solitary existence grazing in peace and secreting a green drool with amazing curative properties. As such, this exceeding rare dragon would fetch a hefty price at any auction. Fortunately, the Buffalord has no interest in leaving its grassy plains and will keep any hunter at bay with its abilities: firing the many spikes studding its hide and doubling its size by inflating! Physical Features
Armored body
Ram-like horns
Small rows of spines along back
Short legs
Colors
Brown and bronze
Green and yellow
Physical Description
Egg
Buffalord eggs are oval shaped eggs which are green with brown spots in coloration, and its surface is formed by four separate segments overlapping each other. They have a row of several bony plates on their surface. Hatchling to Adult
The Buffalord's head is similar to a turtle's, with horns growing to the side and forward, like a yak, and a single horn resembling that of a unicorn or a rhinoceros growing atop the skull. It has very large wings and four small legs that are positioned close to the middle of its body. It also boasts a row of spines along its back, with smaller one scattered on its bronze back too. As an herbivorous dragon, it is quite rotund. Its head looks relatively baby-like, causing many to think that is is cute. Titan Wing
Titan Wing Buffalords are light pink in color, with lighter patterns on their wings, pale belly and purple spots all over the body, exempting the belly. The horns on their heads are tan with dark brown stripes. They have occasional spots of orange on their wings. In addition, their spines, horns and wing claws have grown longer.
Abilities & Weaknesses
Abilities
Uncontrollable Fire A Buffalord can shoot uncontrollable fire, which explodes in an instant. It appears that the Buffalord can't control the power of its flames or the time when it will fire, but these explosions happen if it is attacked or taken away from its food source. The fire spreads very quickly.
Inflation The Buffalord is capable of inflating its body to twice its normal size, scaring away any predator who tries to attack it, much like a pufferfish. This skill enables them to break out from small, enclosed spaces to gain freedom. When inflating, the Buffalord can break any material, even as strong as dragon-proof metal.
Shooting Spines Similar to Deadly Nadders, Whispering Deaths, Screaming Deaths, and Razorwhips, the Buffalord can shoot spines from any part of its body, except for the underbelly, which has no spikes. However, it appears that the dragon only uses this ability when it inflates its body, so that the Buffalord can shoot them with great speed.
Healing Saliva The Buffalord's green drool has amazing curing properties and is the only known cure for a lethal disease known as the Scourge of Odin. The Buffalord's saliva is only effective against the Scourge of Odin when mixed with the herbs it feeds upon. The only problem being that the saliva rapidly evaporates, so the patient needs to be close by to be given the drool.
Weaknesses
Docility Due to its incredibly docile nature, this dragon hardly puts up a fight, as seen when it willingly allowed Hiccup and Viggo to lead it away from the island and didn't even react when it was covered with a net or shoved onto a cart. The dragon only noticed signs of threat after it got a significant distance away.
Behavior & Training
Personality The Buffalord is endemic to the native plains with an abundance of herbs. As it makes up the entirety of their diet, Buffalords do not leave their homeland and spend most of their time grazing peacefully alone. They appear to be fully content with their lives there. Although the Buffalord appears to be slow, dumb and harmless, taking it out of its territory will show what this dragon is really capable of. The Buffalord is possibly the laziest dragon, seeming even more so than the Hotburple. Despite their limited contact with humans, Buffalords are described to be extremely docile, even "yak-like". They are, however, known to be stubborn and refuse to leave their homes and will relentlessly attack any hunter that tries to remove them.
Short Description Single-minded and voracious, the Cavern Crasher may lack wings, but its body has adapted to survive beneath the earth. With its reinforced beak and claws, this dragon climbs rock walls and hangs upside-down from stalactites. But the Cavern Crasher's most dangerous feature, by far, is its ability to excrete and eject slick mucus from the bulbous ducts on its back and then set it ablaze! Physical Features
Glands that produce flammable mucus on back and tail
Collapsible skeleton
Upper beak
Absence of wings
Colors
Black with yellow stripes
Black with red stripes
Physical Description
Egg
Cavern Crasher eggs look like rocks, though they taper towards the top. They are red with black stripes and are covered in mucus, possibly by their parents as a form of protection. Hatchling to Adult
The Cavern Crasher is a black, wingless dragon resembling a cross between a large salamander, a Gila monster, and a shell-less turtle. Cavern Crashers have yellow stripes that swathe across their eyes and similar bands around their limbs. They also have a hooked beak-liked mandible on their upper jaw, prominent tusks on its lower jaw and a thick, rounded tail. It has multiple bumps and craters on their back that secrete slime. Its glistening hide has an overall "slimy" appearance. Titan Wing
Titan Wing Cavern Crashers look similar to their younger counterparts, but have glowing crystal-like spikes on their backs. The yellow stripes are replaced with luminous light blue, lilac and teal hints.
Abilities & Weaknesses
Abilities
Flammable Mucus The Cavern Crasher is able to secrete flammable mucus from glands on its body. It launches this substance from its back and tail, flinging it onto other objects before igniting it with flames. The mucus shares similar properties to Monstrous Nightmare gel, due to its flammability.
Collapsible Skeleton With a collapsable skeletal structure, the Cavern Crasher is able to navigate and squeeze through the tightest of wall crevasses and cracks.
Wall Scaling The Cavern Crasher can scale cavern walls and ceilings like a gecko very quickly, despite its larger size.
Burrowing The Crasher has been shown to be a very fast digger, as they are able to appear out of the ground at high speed and are strong enough to burrow through rocky walls.
Weaknesses
The Cavern Crasher's defenses can be overwhelmed by blasts of fire that are large or powerful enough to cook its mucus away, leaving it vulnerable.
Behavior & Training
Personality Described to be cruel and cunning, the Cavern Crasher raids other dragons' nest mercilessly, consuming their offspring and eggs. This dragon is exceptionally smart and deceiving, outsmarting several of its opponents and is more than relentless in getting its meal. It also pushes other dragons out of their nests to gain a place to live temporarily.

Physical Description
Short Description The chameleon-like Changewings are skilled predators and some of the deadliest dragons in the Book of Dragons. Their camouflaging skills are second to none, allowing them to blend in with rocks, trees, foliage, and even buildings. Additionally, Changewings often change colors based on their moods and surroundings. Instead of fire, they shoot hot, corrosive acid that burns through wood and rocks. They are also extremely agile and fast, even when moving along the ground. Changewings have a social structure similar to a lion pride. The female Changewings do most of the hunting and defense. Physical Features
Side horns protruding from head
Antennae with leaf-like lobes
Underbite
Nasal horn
Colors
Red, with orange at the edge of the wings and a cream underbelly
Green with a cream underbelly
Physical Description
Egg
Changewing eggs have a triangular shape, and they change colors while casting bright lights. They appear to have a solid core encased in another translucent shell. Hatchling to Adult
Changewings are usually red or green. They have teeth protruding out their lip from their lower jaw and yellow eyes. They possess a pair of horns that protrude from the back of their heads, a single horn on their nose, and a pair of antennae with leaf-like lobes that are similar to a Snaptrapper's. The spines on the Changewings are also leaf-like in shape. Their wings are red or green with yellow edges and their size is close to Monstrous Nightmare. Titan Wing
Titan Wing Changewings look relatively similar to their Broad Wing counterparts. However, the edges of their wings become sharper and their color turns. They are dark green and their wings have red edges and splotches of black. The blue spines turn red and the blue horns at the side of their head turn green.
Abilities & Weaknesses
Abilities
Camouflage The Changewing's most noticeable attribute is the ability to change the color and texture of its scales to match that of their surroundings. They usually blend in with their surroundings while approaching their prey, then transform back into their default colors. The only body part that Changewings can't change is their eyes, which they use to hypnotize victims before an attack. The Changewing's camouflage can also be rendered defunct if they are exposed to Hideous Zippleback gas.
Acid Blasts Unlike most other dragons, the Changewing can launch concentrated streams of acid at victims. Dragons fresh out of the shell are able to use this ability. The acid is green in color and is extremely corrosive. This acid can burn through most, if not all, materials in seconds.
Hypnosis Changewings have the uncanny ability to hypnotize both humans and dragons. When they do that, their pupils dilate into slits, then swirl around. This ability is so powerful that they can hypnotize even a Titan Wing Purple Death. They can transmit commands to the hypnotized victim, which it will follow unless snapped out of the trance. However, they don't use this ability too often as they rely more on their acid and camouflage.
Prehensile Tail Changewings have a prehensile tail for gripping as they are able to hold objects. They are able to lift up Vikings with their highly flexible tail with little to no effort. They are also able to catch a falling human with their tails and move them around. The tail of a Changewing can bend almost completely, which could mean that the bone structures have lots of flexible articulations, or that the tail has no bones at all and is composed just by muscles.
Weaknesses
The Changewings' skin is vulnerable to attack, as it is softer due to its color-changing properties. In addition, they can't hide if nothing is in their area for them to camouflage against, such as the sky. When Changewings get threatened, injured, or scared, they can't control their color changes, making them easier to see.
Behavior & Training
Personality Changewings nest in large, tall forests in packs. They group together for common goals, or in other words, they are team players and will stop at almost nothing to remain in possession of their eggs. Also, Changewings are very curious creatures, and as Hiccup describes, "whatever they see, they love to copy". Changewings are mostly nocturnal, so that they can hide more easily.
Changewings are known to be very cooperative and work together to accomplish their goals. Multiple Changewings help one another acquire one of their eggs, and do not rest or leave until all of their eggs have been found. The way a Changewing pack works is very much like how a lion pride works. The females do most of the hunting and fighting, as well as defending their territory. Changewing packs sneak up on their prey — be it a swarm of smaller dragons or a downed dragon, then herd them together or circle a single victim, then pick them off one by one. Training They enjoy mimicry, so if one tries to mimic them, be it by their noises or their movements, they will find the individual fascinating.

Short Description With their vibrant scales, frills, and enchanting call, it’s easy to become entranced by Death Songs, but beware! Beneath this resplendent exterior lies an invasive and cannibalistic species. They use their song to lure dragons to them, only to trap them in an amber cocoon. There are only a few creatures with the ability to face a Death Song unscathed. Thunderdrums are immune to the Death Song's call because they have poor hearing! Physical Features
Colorful wings
Fins on the head
Long spines along the back
Long horns
Barbles
Colors
Striking and bright colors of blue, yellow, and orange
Physical Description
Egg
The eggs of Death Songs are flamboyant oval-shaped eggs. They have a colorful, tropical coloured purple core and a translucent, white, jelly like coating. The eggs appear to have wavy, curved markings adorning them and some spots, similar to some butterfly wings on the outer covering. Hatchling to Adult
The Death Song has a long, slender body. Its wings resemble that of a Thunderdrum. It has a long, slender tail, with a sail similar to that of a Monstrous Nightmare. Its body resembles that of a Timberjack, as it is very thin. The Death Song has striking and bright colors of blue, yellow, and orange on both its wings and its tail. It has spikes that run along its back. Titan Wing
The Titan Wing Death Song has two pairs of long, twisted horns on its head and a much larger nasal horn. The spikes on its back and tail are longer and sharper and its tail fins develop more curved shapes. Its head frills are also considerably larger, being almost as long as its horns.
Abilities & Weaknesses
Abilities
Singing and Mimicking The Death Song uses a siren-like song to lure its prey to Melody Island. The secret behind this amazing feature is the Death Song's extra cervical vertebrate. When the Death Song calls, this extra vertebrae expands into its frills, enabling to project its song up to a mile away. Babies also have the ability to mimic sounds and songs, even those of humans. However it appears that if another dragon or animal closely bonds with a Death Song their song won't affect them anymore.
Consuming Death Songs are able to consume smaller dragons very quickly, as shown when it supposedly devoured an entire Gronckle in under a few minutes. After finishing their meal, Death Songs have a tendency to stock up the remaining bones in a pile.
Immunity to Eels Death Songs can eat eels without getting sick, similar to the Typhoomerang and Skrill. It is unknown however, if it has any rejuvinating effects on the dragon.
Weaknesses
The Death Song's greatest weakness is the Thunderdrum, which is immune to the former’s luring song. This is because the Thunderdrums' hearing is so poor that they are unable to hear the Death Songs’ lullabies.
Due to their large size, Death Songs also have a hard time flying through small caves and tunnels.
Death Songs are very sensitive to rhythms; different songs can easily relax, distract, disorient, annoy or even enrage them.
The Death Song's amber peels right off a Slitherwing's skin, rendering it useless.
Death Songs have little stealth and armour because they rely on their song to hypnotise the prey. However, Thunderdrums or humans aren’t affected by the song and having very little stealth and armour is a huge disadvantage.
Behavior & Training
Personality Death Songs are extremely solitary. This is most likely because they will eat any dragon who gets too close to them, including their own kind. Their preferred prey are other dragons, but they aren't averse of eating any unwary human who strays too close to their nest. They also aren't adverse to gobbling up a chicken or an eel. Unlike most dragons, the Death Song will abandon its young not long after hatching. They are often hostile towards younglings of their own kind. However, in some cases, Death Songs are willing to adopt and care for younger Death Songs, provided they can sing a song they like. Baby Death Songs are noisy, putting up a screaming fit unless someone or something sings to it or feeds it. Training It is unknown if adult Death Songs can be trained, but it proved to be possible with a baby Death Song, Garff, who with the riders after they sang to it.

Short Description Although normally withdrawn and wary of humans, Dramillions mimic the fire blast of any dragon they encounter. With their striking coloration, peaked crown, and curved beaks, Dramillions have often been called the parrots of the dragon world for these uncanny creatures can also repeat any kind of dragon fire they see. The Dramillion duplicates blasts that look — and burn — like the real thing. It's no wonder, then, that Dragon Hunters once forced Dramillions to reproduce their many fire forms for training drills. Dramillions have the highest shot count of any other dragon species by far. But even these copycats will hit empty after enough blasts. Fortunately, Dramillions can also transfer flames to each other. If one runs out of heat, the rest of its pack share their reserves with the spent Dramillion so it can fire up again! Physical Features
Spiky head
Small forelimbs
Finned tail
Colors
Dark blue and red
Red and blue
Yellow and purple
Physical Description
Egg
The egg of a Dramillion is dark blue, oval-shaped, with scale pattern similar to the adult. It has black stripes coming from left to right, which are nearly identical with those of a tiger. Hatchling to Adult
The Dramillion is a medium-sized, bipedal dinosaur-like dragon with small arms and two claws at the end of each limb. It has a short thick neck and a small head. Its upper jaw resembles a beak of a parrot, while the lower jaw is more round and full of small teeth. It has three spikes on its head, which are asymmetrically placed. The Dramillion has medium-sized wings, with a claw on each of them. It has only a few sharp spikes on its back, and it has a long tail that ends with a large fin, similar to a flame (Almost representing its unique ability). However Dramillions are unable to fly if this fin is damaged or destroyed. Titan Wing
A Titan Wing Dramillion is not very different from an adult. It has a darker blue color with red patterns on its back, wings, and tail. Its spikes are also dark blue instead of white. After reaching this stage, the Dramillion gains the ability to become invisible, much like its distant related cousin, the Changewing.
Abilities & Weaknesses
Abilities
Fire Mimicking Dramillions are able to mimic the fire blasts of any dragon they encounter. They can also combine different types of fire to make a powerful blast. So far, Dramillions have been seen reproducing the fire blasts of a Gronckle, a Deadly Nadder, a Night Fury and a Singetail. Besides this, Dramillions can also produce a unique type of fire made out of purple and yellow flames, which is powerful enough to destroy a ship with just one blast.
Camouflage Being a distant relative to the Changewing, Titan Wing Dramillions have the ability to change the color of their scales and blend in with their surroundings, similar to an octopus. It is unknown if normal Dramillions share this ability, as they have not been observed to use camouflage.
Reserve Sharing When a Dramillion runs out of shots, the rest of the pack will share their reserves by transferring their flames to the spent Dramillion.
Weaknesses
Dramillions cannot fly away from danger if their tails are manacled. They are also loyal to a fault, and will take risks and endanger themselves if a packmate is threatened.
Behavior & Training
Personality Dramillions are social dragons that live and hunt in packs. They care about their packmates and are willing to share their fire reserves if any one of theirs has run out. Dramillions can be very aggressive and territorial if they are protecting members of their pack. Like the Stormcutter and Night Fury, Dramillions can hang themselves or sleep upside-down like a bat. Training Despite their near-extinction status due to the Dragon Hunters, Dramillions can be trained very easily. In order for one to tame a Dramillion, showing the dragon that you mean no harm is enough for it to let the guard down. Like most dragons, a Dramillion's trust can be earned by touching it gently on the snout or helping it if needed.
Short Description Like something out of a campfire ghost story, the Flightmare doesn't even seem like a real dragon. Emitting a banshee wail and glowing like a phantasm, the Flightmare has haunted Berkians for generations. The Flightmare's glow comes from its primary food supply, a unique type of algae that flows through the woods around Isle of Berk. This algae glows with bioluminescence in the light of Aurvandil's Fire, a Northern Lights display that occurs every few years over Berk. When the Flightmare eats the algae, it also glows, giving it an unnatural appearance. Physical Features
Many wing tendrils
Split tail
Translucent wings
Barbels
Ghost like glow
Colors
Bioluminescent neon blue with a lighter underbelly
Physical Description
Egg
Flightmare eggs are typically oval-shaped, and colored with bright neon colors, usually depicting the unborn individual's main scale color. The eggs grow brightly and are surrounded by a lingering glowing mist, possibly the same toxic substance used by Flightmares, emitted for additional protection. It is unknown if the parent dragons spray this mist on their eggs or if the eggs emit it by themselves. Hatchling to Adult
A Flightmare slightly resembles a mix between a Skrill, a Night Fury, and a Fireworm, with brightly glowing scales. Its natural faint glow is greatly enhanced and weaponized by the consumption of a specific type of glowing blue algae that forms a staple part of a Flightmare's diet. Flightmares are covered in tendrils, replacing spines in the locations the latter would be, mostly back, wing tips, tail, and head. Titan Wing
Titan Wing Flightmares are nearly identical to their Broad Wing counterparts but are now colored purple with a faint, translucent blue outline. They have white and light purple dots all over their wings. Their tails now contain more tendrils.
Abilities & Weaknesses
Abilities
Glowing Body The Flightmare's body produces a weak and dim glow, but bright enough for it to be spotted easily. But when the Flightmare consumes glowing algae, a type of unique algae that makes the internal structures of dragons glow with a similar color to that of their fire type, its body's glow is greatly enhanced. Flightmares are capable of controlling how bright they can glow for a limited amount of time after consuming the algae, and can use this ability to nearly blind and confuse their prey or foes.
Firepower The Flightmare can strike with a toxic mist that temporarily paralyzes the victim from head to toe, giving itself enough time to return and finish it off. The mist can be fired in blasts or streams, and vary in quantity, depending on the Flightmare's tactics and size of the target. The mist leaves surfaces and victims glossy and slightly wet while the paralysis lasts.
Banshee-like Scream The Flightmare emits a loud, high-pitched banshee-like shriek that affects the concentration and stability other dragons in the near vicinity, much like a weak version of the Screaming Death's roar. They often combine their roar with their other abilities such as their glow to overpower their opponents, especially during their entrance and departure. Their roar sounds similar to that of the Snow Wraith, only that the Snow Wraith has a much deeper and softer roar.
Weaknesses
The Flightmare owes one of its most powerful attributes to the glowing algae, and thus must be constantly near a source of it as the glow-enhancing effects last but a limited amount of time. Due to the scarcity of the algae, the Flightmare must protect its main food source at all times from anyone who might try to consume even small quantities of algae in order to maintain its exclusive diet. Diverting the stream of algae will prompt the Flightmare to hastily pursue it in fear of losing its food.
Behavior & Training
Personality The Flightmare is a very aggressive and territorial dragon, being very protective of its territory and food sources since glowing algae is very rare and hard to come across. Seeing how Flightmares are built for speed and defense, they usually avoid fights with bigger and stronger dragons. Flightmares have been shown incredible determination and relentlessness. They seem to be quite reclusive and avoid contact with humans and other dragons, unless they see anyone pose a threat to them or their food, in which case they will relentlessly punish the suspect. Training It remains unclear as to whether or not Flightmares can be trained, as their extreme aggression and hostility towards anyone in order protect their food source makes it virtually impossible to even approach one, much less train it. However, if one is willing to make an attempt at bonding with a Flightmare, approach alone and with caution, as multiple present individuals will quickly make the solitary dragon feel outnumbered, and show the Flightmare you are not a threat to either it nor its glowing food source.

The Foreverwing is a colossal dragon. It has a woody brown color and what seems to be like branches at the back of its head and below its chin. These 'branch-like' objects resemble hair and a beard. With small, kind eyes and an aged appearance, this dragons looks rather old and wise in itself. The Foreverwing has thick foliage such as trees and vegetation on its back.
Abilities & Weaknesses
Abilities
Firepower The Foreverwing produces copious amounts of lava, which is powerful enough to destroy entire villages.
Camouflage The Foreverwing uses the foliage on its back as camouflage that leads others to think that it is just part of a mountainside. The dense foliage on its back covers almost its entire body, except for its head and limbs. Their body, by itself, resembles wood and earth. Thus, even when its head is revealed, it is hard to spot a Foreverwing. This may help it hunt, escape, or even simply get some sleep undisturbed.
Command The Foreverwing, like the Red Death, the Bewilderbeast, the Screaming Death, and other Alpha species, have loyal subjects under its command; the Foreverwing's subjects are known as Seedling Dragons. The Foreverwing seems to be a benevolent leader and does not treat its subject dragons harshly.
Telepathy The Foreverwing is capable of telepathy and it shares a special, nearly telepathic connection with Hiccup, though why or how this is done is unknown.
Calming Compounds The Foreverwing is able to produce some kind of compound with a sedative effect that enables it to sleep for long periods of time. Dragons that bathe in water collected on the body of the Foreverwing will be calmed by these compounds and are eventually sedated.
Acid In addition to lava, the Foreverwing is able to shoot small blasts of green acid. These blasts require less energy than lava, but are much weaker than it, which is why the Foreverwing prefers using the latter.
Weaknesses
Unknown
Behavior & Training
Personality The Foreverwing enjoys sleeping most of the time and does not like to be disturbed. Its stillness when sleeping also contributes to its great camouflaging abilities. This dragon appears to be lazy and has a huge temper when it is awakened without its consent. They also appear to gather and sleep in groups.

Foreverwings can be found on the following islands:
Short Description This two-headed threat is the longest dragon and has the smallest wings & stubbiest legs. But the way it produces fire makes up for any physical drawbacks. While one head shoots out a flammable gas, the other ignites it with a spark—allowing for attacks from long distances. “It is based more on a Siamese cat combined with a devious snakelike quality." Physical Features
Two heads
Horns
Split tail
Lobs along necks, back, and tail
Colors
Different colors, mainly green, blue, or gold with spots and cream underbelly
Physical Description
Egg
These eggs are described as containing buoyant natural gases that are often mistaken for air bubbles. These bubbles give the surface of the egg a bumpy look full of craters. Hatchling to Adult
The Hideous Zippleback is often described as one of the most unusual dragons in the world. This dragon has two long, serpentine necks with rounded spikes on it. These spikes can 'zip' together, in order to create the illusion of one neck. At the end of the necks, are two short heads. The Zippleback has a large horn on its nose, and two thinner horns on top of its head. Like most dragons, they have yellow reptilian eyes. The teeth in their lower jaw seem to be longer than the ones in the upper jaw, sticking out. They also have two tails, which can also 'zip' together. The end of the tail posses a fin-like structure on its tails. Titan Wing
Titan Wing Hideous Zippleback is the same in appearance as a Broad Wing Zippleback, just immensely larger. Titan Wing Hideous Zipplebacks are rather colorful and have many different patterns on their bodies. Its body is grayish green and their wings have three main colors: Blue with white spots Purple Dark Green There are a large number of spikes added and their tail tip increased in size and are more of a diamond shape.
Abilities & Weaknesses
Abilities
Gas and Spark The head on the right side breathes a green, flammable gas, while the left head produces an electrical spark from its mouth to ignite the gas, creating lethal explosions, small fire bolts, or large fire 'walls' to contain their enemies. By itself, the gas can make a human disorientated if inhaled. Zippleback gas can also be used to determine the location of anything that is covered by molted Changewing skin, because it will go around the solid object. This will give the appearance of an 'empty space'.
Flaming Ouroboros Formation This special ability of the Hideous Zipplebacks consists of releasing a large amount of gas and then setting themselves on fire. They bite their own tails and become a flaming wheel or ouroboros, which they can use to knock out enemies. It is likely they have to be taught how to use this ability, however.
Stealth Hideous Zipplebacks can use their gas to hide in, which makes them very stealthy. They use it to unexpectedly strike their victims. The gas acts a smokescreen, obscuring their movements.
Transmitting Information They have a special ability to simultaneously transmit information to both of their brains. For example, if one head is covered up with a blindfold and food is stuck in front of the other head, both heads will start salivating at the same time, even though only one can actually see the food. With this special ability, it makes it nearly impossible to sneak up on a Zippleback. The two heads, however, still possess their individual thoughts and different personalities.
Weaknesses
Conflict between Personalities The dual heads can be a vulnerability, as Drago Bludvist's forces were able to incapacitate a Zippleback by shooting darts into the neck of one head, knocking both heads out. The two heads have different personalities, and if they don't work together, it can be hard for them to do anything. They even slam into objects if both heads are not paying attention when chasing prey.
Speed Perhaps due to their larger size and relatively short but broad wings, Zipplebacks are slower in flight than some other species.
Dousing Spark Ability Dousing the sparking head with water can short out the fire starting ability, leaving the Zippleback unable to light up the gas from the other head.
Behavior & Training
Personality The dragon has two personalities and two minds, one in each head, and often these different ideas, thoughts, and personalities cause the Hideous Zippleback's heads to argue with each other over what to do. This dragon reminds some Vikings of bickering siblings when they aren't running away from it. Occasionally the dragon forgets that it's a two-headed dragon, and one head tries to go one way, and the other head tries to go the other way, this can be problematic. Despite squabbling between heads, Hideous Zipplebacks tend to be very social amongst their own kind and even other species. Many tend to form packs, such as the Valley Zippleback. It has been stated by Gobber that once this dragon is saved by a Viking, they must pay their longtime debt. They are willing to do everything to show how grateful they are of their savior by giving them fish or affection. This could be another way of training a Zippleback or any other dragon species. As Barf and Belch have proven, they will even leave their old riders behind to stay with another for his entire life until they return the favor. Training To train a Zippleback, you must feed both heads at once, then play with the dragon to keep it occupied. Another way to train one is to save a Zippleback's life. If this is done, they will be completely loyal to the person no matter what until they can repay the favor. This can likely be used to train one as well. Despite being relatively easy to train, Zipplebacks tend to learn mischievous lessons quicker than mundane ones, especially those that involve destruction.

Physical Description
Short Description From the sidelines of the battlefield comes the Prickleboggle. There is more than meets the eye with this dragon; don’t be deceived by its lack of combative abilities, they are still an impressive addition to your stables. What they lack in a fight, they make up for in their calming and healing talents in some of the most chaotic of circumstances. These dragons have essential healing powers, powers that help them bond to some of the most ferocious of dragons, who are often very loyal to them after being healed. Physical Features
Horns
Double-frilled tail fin
Frill along back
Slender neck
Nasal horn
Colors
Green with brown spots
Physical Description
Egg
Prickleboggle eggs are typically oval in shape, much like most avian eggs. They are lime green in color with several brown spots studding the surface. The brown spots are raised, almost appearing like stone nuggets embedded on the shell. Hatchling to Adult
Prickleboggles are green dragons with dark brown specks all over their back, neck and wings. Their snouts look similar to that of a Shivertooth. They have two pairs of twisted horns which sometimes appear to tangle together. They also have a long fin that runs down their back, and a large tail-fin that resembles the fin on their back. While these dragons are generally extremely small, no bigger than the size of a Fireworm, giant ones larger than the size of a Deadly Nadder have been discovered. Titan Wing
Titan Wing Prickleboggles are reddish orange with blue spots and blue frill on their back, and sport a white colored belly.
Abilities & Weaknesses
Abilities
Icy Blast Prickleboggles are capable of firing sparkly, mist-like ice not unlike that of the Flightmare, in either streams or blasts. The ice can contain the Prickleboggle's healing properties or not, depending on the purpose of its blast - to heal or damage. The ice blast can be either purple or blue in color, depending on the individual. A Prickleboggle is capable of firing its ice farther than most dragons can fire their own fire type, and its blast has a lingering effect on the target area.
Healing Properties A Prickleboggle's ice contains impressive healing properties. Prickleboggles use these abilities to cure other dragons of their ailments and wounds, with the ice soothing the pain of the victim. In return, the dragons healed by Prickleboggles stay loyal to their healer, protecting the rather small and inoffensive dragon from harm. This forms a symbiosis between the two individuals. Prickleboggles are known to calm and relieve fellow dragons in the midst of battle.
Strength and Combat Prickleboggles do not possess a great deal of strength and instead rely on their strength in numbers, larger individuals, and bonds with more powerful dragons to defend themselves.
Weaknesses
Unknown
Behavior & Training
Personality Prickleboggles are very compassionate creatures who are extremely protective. They are normally quite calm and sensitive dragons. Injured dragons who have been healed by the Prickleboggle usually stay loyal to it and form a close bond. They appear to be able to form symbiotic relationships with other dragons, in which the companion dragon defends the Prickleboggle and then, in return, the Prickleboggle heals the injured companion.
Most Prickleboggles are tiny, being no larger than a Fireworm. They travel in packs, and are usually extremely skittish and shy.

Short Description This shifty critter swims through the sand, catching victims unaware and pulls them underground. It hoards loot in great caves, viciously attacking anyone it suspects of thievery! Sandbuster melts down sand and fires molten glass, trapping its prey. Its biggest weakness is sunlight, but it struggles to hold ground against larger dragons. Physical Features
Large head
Long neck
Prehensile tail
Spikes along side of body
Colors
Green and beige
Physical Description
Egg
A Sandbuster egg is oval, with slightly irregular shape. It is yellow, the color of sand, with green spots, the color of grass. Hatchling to Adult
The Sandbuster is a medium-sized dragon that has a long, snake-like body. It has a large head with relatively small blue eyes and has a long neck with sharp rows of spikes. It has four legs, each ending with three claws. The back legs are bigger and more muscular than the fore ones. Its wings are big compared to the body. They have two sharp claws on each of them. The tail is long and has rows of spikes on it. Titan Wing
A Titan Wing Sandbuster is not very different from the adult, except for the size increase. It has bigger spikes on its head, neck and tail. Its nasal horn becomes more prominent. Similar to most Titan Wings, it has red, fiery eyes.
Abilities & Weaknesses
Abilities
Firepower The Sandbuster shoots molten glass which solidifies on impact, trapping its prey. When the blasts hit something, they spread out as much as possible before solidifying. The glass that forms is opaque, as light can't get through it. Due to this, the Sandbuster uses its blasts to protect itself from the sunlight that is harmful to its skin as it is not normally exposed to much sunlight.
Burrowing This dragon is able to burrow through the sand, similar to how a Whispering Death burrows through earth. However, it doesn't make holes in the sand because it "swims" through it instead of eating it. The Sandbuster is also able to drag large things through the sand as it burrows, such as Vikings or treasure chests.
Prehensile Tail The Sandbusters' prehensile tails allow them to grab Vikings by their legs before pulling them under the sand. They are able to drag the weight of two Vikings with their tails, while burrowing at great speeds.
Weaknesses
The Sandbuster is extremely sensitive to sunlight, not only in brightness to its eyes, but to its skin as well. A shaft of sunlight touching anywhere on its skin will cause lasting areas of redness, presumably a type of sunburn that appears quickly. It is unknown if any source of light might cause this damage, or it is limited to sunlight.
Behavior & Training
Personality Sandbusters are described as being territorial and greedy, protecting their treasure like pirates. They seem to be very aggressive in general.

Egg
A Silkspanner egg is oval, full of bumps, and has a greenish color. It has several spikes for protection on the upper half. In addition, it is covered in a large web, presumably by the parents. It is unknown whether it is secreted by the egg as a protection against possible predators. Hatchling to Adult
The Silkspanner is a six-legged wingless dragon that somewhat resembles an iguana. It has four eyes; a bigger pair in front and a smaller pair in the back. It has chelicerates, similar to a spider's, and its body is green with yellow underbelly and light purple legs. It has a row of long sharp spines along its back and a long tail, as well as long thin claws and a small membrane between its toes. It also possesses numerous thin spines on its head and under its chin. Titan Wing
A Titan Wing Silkspanner is not very different from the adult form. The most notable change is that there are many more spikes on its back, head, and legs. It turns sea blue in color, with pale white belly.
Abilities & Weaknesses
Abilities
Spitting Silk Just like real life spiders, Silkspanners can shoot silk to create webs and trap their prey in them. They can launch these silks from their mouths and their rear ends. The webs are so powerful that not even the strongest of dragons can break through it using brute force.
Wingless Flight Silkspanners are able to fly and glide for relatively short distances (i.e. between islands, but not across the archipelago) by weaving webbing between their three pairs of legs. With these, they are able to catch the wind currents. This leaves them somewhat vulnerable to the whims of wind direction. Additionally, they fill their stomachs with air to add some buoyancy.
Poison Removal Baby Silkspanners have demonstrated the ability to suck out the toxic component of the dragonvine plants that infect both dragons and humans in a seemingly painless process. It is not divulged if adult Silkspanners can also do this.
Floating on Water In order to cross over water when the conditions are not favorable for gliding, Silkspanners are able to float on the surface using strands of fine silk.
Weaknesses
Unknown
Behavior & Training
Personality Silkspanners are highly territorial dragons and are protective of their eggs towards any they those consider as intruders. However, they will come to aid those that are being affected by their primary food source: dragonvine, and it is their species’ role to make sure that the aforementioned toxic plants don’t spread to other parts of the world.

Short Description This dragon will lure you in with it's enchanting melody, then immobilize you with a ferocious strike. The Slithersong shoots its opponents with an amber attack that will harden and leave them unable to move. Physical Features
Colorful wings

Long spines along back
Long horns
Barbles
Colors
Blue with black stripes
Physical Description
Egg
The eggs of Slithersongs are blue oval-shaped eggs. They have a colorful core and a translucent white covering over it. They appear to have wavy, yellow, curved stripes on it and some spots, similar to some butterfly wings. Hatchling to Adult
The Slithersong is similar in appearance to the Death Song, however it has proportionally smaller wings and flaps them much faster. The pattern on the wings is also different from the Death Song, the lower jaw is wider, there are characteristic dark spots around the eye, and the main body is completely blue while the patterns and stripes are black. The legs are thinner and the spines on the back are bigger and thicker as well Titan Wing
Titan Wing Slithersongs possess a gray body with an orange head. Their wings have four main colors: red, orange, pink, and blue. The horns on the heads are larger, as well as the lower jaw. The fins on their tails are bigger and are now orange with red stripes.
Abilities & Weaknesses
Abilities
Singing The Slithersong uses a siren-like song to lure its prey to it.
Hunting The Slithersong is one of the possible best dragons for hunting prey, for they use their siren-like song to lure their prey to trap their prey easily, as the prey is unable to break free.
Firepower After striking its prey, the Slithersong covers it in an amber-like substance which traps and preserves victims as it hardens into a stiff amber cocoon. This cocoon is so strong, it is only penetrable by flames. Afterwards, the Slithersong returns to finish its prey off. It does this by breaking the prey out of the amber and then eating them.
Speed and Agility The Slithersong is much faster and more agile than its larger relative, enabling it to make quick, sharp turns with ease.
Weaknesses
Unknown
Behavior & Training
Personality Like the Death Song, the Slithersong is solitary, which is mostly due to the fact that it eats other dragons. Training Not much is mentioned about training the Slithersong, apart from the fact that it is incredibly hard to do so, deemed 'impossible' and only for the most elite of trainers.
Additional Information
Slithersongs can be found on the following islands:
Bog of the Loud Whisper Clattercliff Island Dragonvine Island Hidden World Melody Island Snoggletog Island Unnamed Islands
Short Description Giant winged snakes with venomous scales and fangs, Slitherwings are truly the stuff of nightmares! As if one Slitherwing wasn’t deadly enough, the poisonous dragons tend to hunt in packs. Like regular snakes, a Slitherwing’s bright coloration indicates its venom level. The more colorful the Slitherwing, the deadlier the attack. These oversized serpents slither at top speeds, sedate prey with the toxins in their bites, and drag them back to their pit for dinner. Equally aggressive against Vikings and dragons, Slitherwings fear only one thing: Fire. Physical Features
Long snake-like body
Irregular spikes on the head
Small claws on wings
Colors
Red with black and yellow stripes
Physical Description
Egg
A Slitherwing egg is oval with a slightly irregular shape. Unlike most dragon eggs, the Slitherwing egg has a smooth surface, with no asperities on it. The egg has a solid color as a base and many triangular spots all over it. Hatchling to Adult
The Slitherwing resembles a giant snake with its long, snake-like body. Its body has a bright, brilliant coloration and pattern that serves as an indication and warning to its extreme levels of toxicity, much like many other animals, including: snakes, amphibians, fish and insects. It has numerous large fangs and teeth capable of injecting, transmitting, and spraying venom. Unlike snakes and many species of dragons, however, Slitherwings do not have a forked tongue. It also has a series of sharp spines of various shapes and sizes on the top of its head. Titan Wing
Titan Wing Slitherwings grow much larger in size than their adult counterparts. In terms of coloration, they are yellow with blue and red stripes on their wings and tails. They develop a cobra-like frill behind their head, on their neck. Their eyes become green. The spikes on their heads and the claws on their wings grow bigger and sharper. They are bright yellow with red and blue highlights.
Abilities & Weaknesses
Abilities
Venom and Poison The Slitherwing produces and secretes venom from their mouths and poison from their skin. The venom and poison are fatal to both Viking and dragon alike and is said to sedate the victim, rendering it immobile and defenseless, ready to be picked up by the Slitherwing. The toxic substance secreted from the Slitherwing's body is poisonous and can quickly be absorbed by victims through any means of contact, although skin-to-skin transmission is the preferred method. Upon contact, the poison quickly enters the victim's bloodstream, causing negative reactions to the body, and can kill a human within one month if not treated with an antidote.
Venom Spitting The Slitherwing has the ability to spit venom from its mouth (possibly secreted from its fangs) at potential victims, serving as its firepower and adding to their overall danger. This ability is similar to how different species of spitting cobras can spray airborne venom from their fangs.
Skin Coating The toxic substance that the Slitherwing secretes on its skin is used to coat its entire body, which is why one touch from any part of its body could be fatal. The thick skin coating also protects the dragon from external substances applied to it, such as Death Song amber. The amber is unable to stick to the Slitherwing and thus unable to expand and solidify, rendering a Death Song attack on a Slitherwing useless. They might also be protected from the ice breath powers of some dragons.
Foldable Wings Slitherwings have a pair of wings that can fold onto their bodies, letting them slip through very tight cracks. They can retract their wings so far as to appear wingless, and unfold them as quickly as they need to.
Burrowing When Slitherwings are threatened, they hide in their burrowed holes inside their cave to defend themselves.
Weaknesses
The Slitherwings' inability to shoot any fire and their fear of it appear to be their only two weaknesses.
Behavior & Training
Personality Slitherwings are highly aggressive, instinct-driven, territorial dragons that hunt in packs, hunting most anything they can get their fangs into, including other dragons. They sedate their prey with their toxins before dragging it back to their cavernous lair to be eaten. They sleep coiled in a spiral in caves and caverns. Slitherwings share a fear of fire with Fireworms. Slitherwings appear to be immune to a Death Song's enchanting song, as well as its amber firepower.
Socialized Slitherwings can actually be quite friendly with Vikings. Showing affection is difficult, however, due to the poison mucous covering its skin. Fishlegs has devised a special full body suit to physically interact with the Slitherwing, Toksin. Training The Slitherwing's extremely aggressive and instinct-driven nature and high levels of toxicity render it very difficult, if not impossible, to train.

Physical Description
Short Description Smothering Smokebreaths are elusive creatures that prefer to stay hidden. While not inherently aggressive, Smokebreaths will attack Vikings that intrude on their territory. Rather than breathe fire, these dragons instead exhale plumes of thick black smoke. Being communal creatures, these individual smoke clouds often combine into what appears to be a large fog bank. Many a Viking ship has been scuttled due to these dragon-made fogbanks, which suits the Smokebreaths just fine, as they scavenge the wreckage for bits of metal to use in building their nests. Physical Features
Yellow eyes
Skull-like head
Smoke-like tail
Spines along back
Nasal horn flanked by two smaller ones
Colors
Dark and light grey
Physical Description
Egg
The egg of a Smothering Smokebreath is dark brown with several, large and small, brown bumps all over it, with a crack in the middle of the shell. There appears to be a strange purple color underneath the egg. Hatchling to Adult
The Smothering Smokebreath is a bit larger than a Terrible Terror, with a flatter body, but it is entirely gray. The head and mouth are almost as big as its body, and it has no discernible neck. It has short, stubby legs and a wingspan equivalent to over twice its body length. Its tail is long, thin, and very spiky. Titan Wing
Titan Wing Smothering Smokebreaths have a shiny green and grey coat. Their snout, wing edges, and belly is green, while the rest of their body is grey. These titans have blue stripes on their wings, similar to those of a tiger. The spines on their back, neck, and tail are larger, longer and sharper too. Overall, this dragon has increased in size.
Abilities & Weaknesses
Abilities
Smoke Smothering Smokebreaths can create a veil of smoke to hide from enemies or victims. They excrete this dense fog from their skins. In addition, their fire also tends to create a great deal of subsiding smoke as it is released. Because of this ability, it was thought to be a kind of "Fog Monster" and became legendary, to the point that, although the Book of Dragons had information about it, Fishlegs believed it was just a myth. According to Valka, scratching a Smokebreath under the chin will cause it to produce large amounts of smoke.
Stealth Smothering Smokebreaths hunt in complete stealth. Hidden by the smoke, they surround their prey and close until it cannot see anything, so they attack. A single Smokebreath by itself is relative of little consequence, but an entire swarm is powerful enough to tear apart a fleet of Berserker ships or bring the Isle of Berk to the brink of defeat by stripping it of nearly all the metal available.
Firepower Although they usually breathe smoke, Smokebreaths can breathe a very hot fire, since it is capable of melting metal in a matter of moments. A large swarm may appear as a strange smoke cloud.
Weaknesses
Their strength is through their numbers. One Smokebreath alone isn't enough to keep themselves concealed. They are also extremely vulnerable when they are by themselves.
Behavior & Training
Personality Smokebreaths are social creatures. They live in large packs and work together as a team. Together they create nests out of materials, preferably metals, which they weld together with their flame. When traveling together they fly in groups and use their smoke to keep themselves concealed from potential predators. They are elusive and prefer to stay hidden. They are not aggressive, but they are territorial and will defend their homes from any threat, large or small, including Vikings. They won't hesitate to plunder the precious metals from Viking ships and nearby villages. Their method of concealment has given them infamy, often referred to as a "Fog Monster", "Fjord Phantoms" and even ghosts. Training Create a fancy nest, made of the best scrap metal you can find. Whether the Smokebreaths decide to move in or take it apart is up to them, though.

Short Description While as beautiful and serene as an exotic flower upon first blush, the four-headed Snaptrapper is actually one of the most insidious and deadly dragons ever discovered. Upon opening their triple-split jaws, Snaptrappers release a sweetly intoxicating scent, stimulating hunger in nearby dragons and humans. When the unlucky victim goes foraging through the deceitful dragon's leaf-like wings and fins, the Snaptrapper unfurls and strikes. Although they are best known for producing the alluring aroma for unwitting prey, Snaptrappers can also exude a noxious odor to ward off would-be predators. One whiff of this pungent reek of putrefaction is enough to scare of even the most starving Titan Wing. Physical Features
Four heads
Leaf-like spines
Triple split jaws
Antennae
Forked tail
Colors
Green with red and yellow spots
Physical Description
Egg
Snaptrapper eggs resemble plants, with four leafy branches on top and several root-like protuberances on the bottom. Its surface is covered with vine-line patterns. Hatchling to Adult
The Snaptrapper is a dragon that has four heads, each with three jaws. Their tails are forked like that of the Hideous Zippleback, and they look somewhat like the latter as well. Their unique, frightening jaws open up in a way that resembles a flower blooming, and the spines on their necks, body, and tail look similar to leaves. All four heads of the Snaptrapper have three tongues; these tongues each resemble the anther of a flower, as it is the Snaptrapper's tactic to resemble a plant of some kind to lure prey in close, or to help them hide from the dragon's few potential predators. They are one of the larger species of dragons and have very long necks and tails. Titan Wing
Titan Wing Snaptrappers have four heads and triple-split jaws with more teeth. They have developed a small tuft of pink petal-like structures at the back of their head. They have dark brown wings with some blue spots and yellow network vein-like patterns, as such, their wings resemble dead leaves. Also, their neck is clearly segmented and has spines protruding from the back of their necks, all the way down to their tail, which eventually splits into two yellow tails.
Abilities & Weaknesses
Abilities
Firepower The Snaptrapper is known to breathe a flammable mist containing methane and can produce the smell of chocolate from their mouths to lure in potential prey. They also spit acid that can sting foes and even melt through metal.
Venom The Snaptrapper's venom is one of the most potent of all dragons, only weaker than those of the Slitherwing and the Threadtail.
Camouflage Superbly stealthy hunters, they can excellently camouflage themselves amidst dense vegetation, both to hide from larger dragons and from their prey. Their wings and scale tone are adapted to look like leaves and foliage, and they have leaf-like fins atop their backs. If feeling threatened, the Snaptrapper can easily camouflage with its surroundings, especially amongst the natural foliage.
Producing Smells Snaptrappers are well-known for their uncanny ability to emit a tantalizing scent compared to the sweet aroma of chocolate. This smell stimulates hunger in other dragons and humans nearby to lure them right into their jaws. However, it can also release a horrid odor that can scare off even the most starving Titan Wings for self-defense.
Flexibility Snaptrappers are not the most nimble flyers, a drawback of their heavy adaption for stealth-based hunting. However, their long, thin necks and tails are very flexible, similar to those of the Hideous Zippleback.
Weaknesses
Unknown
Behavior & Training
Personality Snaptrappers are said to love rain, frolicking in the mud whenever a storm breaks. Described to be beautiful, peaceful and calm at first sight, these dragons are fierce and aggressive. They are, however, incredibly patient. They will wait for food for days, and can be motionless in doing so. Training Just like Hideous Zipplebacks, Snaptrappers' trust can be earned if all heads are treated in equal measure. They can also be tamed if approached while playing in mud.

The Sweet Death has a rather short and stubby body. It has a broad snout, wings, and a thick tail. The Sweet Death has a light sandy brown color with stripe-like patterns that resembled a tiger's. The stripes give the dragon a somewhat bumpy and segmented appearance. Titan Wing
Titan Wing Sweet Deaths are a pinkish-red in color, with a peach-colored belly. They still look rather stubby, with a thick tail. White spikes protrude from their entire body and their eyes are bigger. Also, their wings are light peach in color. A Sweet Death in titan form has a tail covered with smaller spikes.

Abilities
Tree-like Tongue The Sweet Death's tree-like tongue may be a camouflage. Unsuspecting victims may go closer to it to its tongue and it gives the Sweet Death an opportunity to strike.
Acid Similar to the Changewing, the Sweet Death shoots highly corrosive acid at its opponents. It is great for achieving offensive and defensive goals, which makes it a dangerous dragon.

Physical Description
Egg
Sword Stealer eggs have large scales colored in different metallic shades. There appears to be six triangular plates that are fused together, with a bright-neon layer underneath the scales, colored differently depending on the individual. Hatchling to Adult
Newly born Sword Stealers are completely yellow instead of a dark color, as it does not have any metal armor. Once they have accumulated enough armor, the Sword Stealer is a mostly black dragon with some gray and white details. It has two wings and two legs. The tip of its tail ends with an arrow-shaped triangle. This dragon is unique in that where the wing claws would be located, it instead has triangular spear-like tips like on the tail. The Sword Stealer's size is very large, possibly as large as a Boneknapper. It is also very similar to a Razorwhip as both have metal (or metal-like, in the case of the Razorwhip) scales. Titan Wing
Titan Wing Sword Stealers are yellow, close to gold in color while their wings, chest, and mouth glow blue. Also, they have an arrow-shaped tail. Their wings have brown stripes along it too.
Abilities & Weaknesses
Abilities
Magnetic Skin Sword Stealers have skin with magnetic properties which attracts metallic objects such as swords and shields, which it uses to coat itself with an additional layer metal for protection, much like the Armorwing or Boneknapper, both dragon species which use foreign objects to coat their bodies to protect their weakened skin.
Strength and Combat Sword Stealers seem to possess a great level of strength, as they are not weighed down by the multitude of metal objects that they wear as armor.

Behavior & Training
Personality Sword Stealers spend a large part of their time looking for metal objects to build up their body armor. They will often approach battlefields so that they can look for spare swords and other metal items, or even steal them before the battle has begun. Sword Stealers have been known to raid armories as well, and can also locate veins of metal in the ground.
