Threads on this board can be updated frequently based on the needs of the roleplay, so please be sure to check back frequently. If any major changes are made, staff will post an announcement in our Announcements board and in Discord to ensure everyone is aware of the changes.

The Book of Dragons contains important information on most of the dragons from the HTTYD franchise, including the movies, TV shows, and games. All dragons have their characteristics, abilities, and other important information listed, as well as their rarity, rideability, and trainability.

The Character Forms & Info board is your one-stop-shop for everything relating to characters and character creation. Here, you can find our character application, all current characters, NPC's, and Canons. Characters must be accepted by a staff member before joining the roleplay, however, non-accepted characters can still be played in the Quick Roleplay board.

Post here to begin creating your character. Create a thread with your character's name and use the provided form to begin your character application.

On this board, you can post threads to plot with others. You can also put up an adoptables or want ad here.

Here you can post a thread tracker to keep track of all threads that your characters are in.

You can talk about anything here! You can play games, post your art, talk about the last show you watched, or whatever you want. Please be sure to adhere to our rules and the ProBoards community guidelines.

If you're going to be away from the site for a while, please be sure to post here just to let us know so we know when to expect you back. Letting us know of your absence also excludes you from our roll calls and keeps your characters from being archived. However, if you're gone longer than your expected return date, your account and characters may be deleted.

The Notice Board is where open threads can be posted to invite others to join. Staff may also use this board for threads that further the overall plot along, or Missions for Dragon Riders.

New Berk is an island northwest of Berk beyond the Barbaric Archipelago. New Berk is elevated far from sea level, making it hard for non-dragon-riders (or those without Hiccup's wingsuits) to access. It contains fields, waterfalls, thick forests, and beaches. This island is similar to Berk in its geography, which consists of cliffs, beaches, waterfalls, and forests. The plant life that grows on New Berk is very diverse and consists of tropical-like vines and thick foliage, as well as various types of pine trees, such as giant sequoia.

Hysteria runs parallel with Villainy to its North, with the Wrath of Thor sea channel in between. Hysteria has a large mountain at the Northwest corner of the island and has abundant forested areas. One such forested area is named the 'Wild Wolf Forests'. The village has battlements lined with skulls and walls, a huge central Great Hall, and The American Dream - a ship owned and operated by the Hysteric Tribe - well-maintained in the center of the village.

School of Dragons island is located Northwest of the Isle of Berk. The island is an old volcanic caldera, providing fertile soil and geothermic heat utilized for hatching Dragon eggs. The island was previously inhabited by Vikings, as there are various ruins left behind. The School Grounds house The Hatchery, as well as the Dragon Stables. The School's Great Hall and Laboratory are found in this section. There are also several fishing spots and a harbor. The Training Grounds contains an Arena similar to the one on Berk. The area itself is part of the coastline of the island in direct contact with the sea, unlike the School area, which is mostly enclosed within the caldera. There are Sea Stacks, some snow and ice year-round, and a few fishing spots. The Lookout is at a higher elevation to other areas and serves, in part, as a lookout point for the island. The Greenhouse is also located here, as well as some small farms. There is a cave network to fly through, a few fishing spots, and docks for boats.

The Open Seas are vast bodies of water that surround the Viking island of New Berk and the other islands in the archipelago. They are teeming with a variety of sea creatures, including fish, sharks, and dragons. The seas are deep and mysterious, with dark depths that conceal many secrets and dangers. There are also strong currents and unpredictable weather patterns, which can make sailing treacherous.

Our Quick RP board is for those who want to play their character without adding to the canon of their characters. These threads do not continue the main storylines in the main threads and may be used just to explore the character more or post shorter/quicker threads while you wait on responses for your main threads. Members whose characters have not yet been accepted can also post here while they wait for approval.
