With the return of the dragons, and the rise of Dragon Hunters as a result, the need for Dragon Riders has never been greater. Hiccup and the rest of the original Dragon Riders have started training the next generation to fulfill their mission: ensure the safety of the dragons. A whole new set of Dragon Riders will be in charge of the safety of the archipelago. They will explore further and discover even more new dragons while protecting their home.
Strike Class dragons are generally extremely powerful. They are known to have blazing speed, pin-point accuracy, extreme intelligence, incredible vice-like jaw strength, explosive firepower and a unique way to navigate in their respective environment. They are also the most difficult to train, but the most loyal once the training is accomplished.

Short Description Deathgrippers are a monstrous species with their protruding tusks, foreclaw pincers, and poisonous clubbed tails. Traveling in packs like wild dogs, Deathgrippers enjoy hunting for prey and should be avoided at all costs. Physical Features
Protruding retractable tusks
Armored plates along the back
Sheathed venomous stinger at end of telescopic tail
Jagged pincers
Colors
Red and black
Yellow and black
Physical Description
Egg
The egg of a Deathgripper is large and oval, with scale patterns all over it. It is red in color, with dark blue, almost black, circular stripes, radiating around the circumference of the egg, similar to the baby dragon when it is hatched. Hatchling to Adult
Deathgrippers are medium-sized dragons with long, sharp tusks protruding out from their lower jaws and a row of armored plates lining their backs. They have large yellow eyes and their coloration is mainly red with black stripes. These stripes occasionally merge into spots, similar to those of a Monstrous Nightmare. The tails of Deathgrippers are telescopic, just like those of a Razorwhip, and are tipped with a venomous scorpion-like stinger. They are, however, not prehensile. In place of front legs, Deathgrippers possess jagged, razor-sharp pincers similar to that of a mantis. The dragon's back legs are shorter and thinner with two claws on each of them. Titan Wing
Titan Wing Deathgrippers are much larger than their Broad Wing counterparts. They have two more tusks, one on each side of their mouths. Their spikes and claws increase in size and are much sharper. Their stingers become longer and their tails become thicker, especially towards their ends.
Abilities & Weaknesses
Abilities
Acid Blasts Deathgrippers are capable of launching long streams of rabid acid at their intended targets. The acid is green and highly flammable, often catching fire when exposed to oxygen, allowing it to destroy wood, stone, and metal very easily.
Venomous Sting Deathgrippers possess a scorpion-like stinger at the tip of their telescopic tails, which they use to inject their venom that has sedative effects on humans and other dragons. The stinger is surrounded by four large scales and is hidden in a club-like sheath when not being used.
Strength and Combat Deathgrippers are considerably strong dragons. They can use their pincers to claw their enemies and their stinger is able to pierce through stone as well as pull and pry blocks from structures. Even when sheathed, they can use their clubbed tails to knock over enemies.
Foreleg Pincers Deathgrippers have front legs that have evolved into pincers. These pincers are used both for walking and for holding prey in place during an attack.
Speed and Agility Deathgrippers are very fast in the air and on land. They can fly fast enough to catch up to a Night Fury and move quickly to deliver deadly strikes on their victims.
Weaknesses
Deathgrippers are not immune to their own venom, just like the Speed Stinger, and it can even be used against them. While they can be drugged by their own venom, it is unknown if they are also vulnerable to the other effects of their venom.
Behavior & Training
Personality Deathgrippers are highly aggressive dragons that live and travel in packs. They also tend to play with their prey before killing it.
Upon hatching, the babies are so focused on food that they start to eat each other in order to obtain sustenance, with the only survivors being those who manage to get away from the others. It is because of this behavior that these Deathgrippers lay thousands of eggs in a single nest, hoping that at least a few will be able to survive the slaughter and eventually produce the next generation. This solitary behavior is only broken during the mating season, where female Deathgrippers eat their mates in order to ensure that their eggs will mature faster. Training Deathgrippers are extremely difficult to train, but a person can train one by imprinting on it as a hatchling immediately after it emerges from the egg. However, adult Deathgrippers can be trained as well. If a person saves a Deathgripper's life, the dragon will be grateful towards its savior, and even allow itself to be ridden.

Short Description The Light Fury moves as fast as Toothless and shares his ability to blend into the sky — even during daylight hours. With her white coloration, the Light Fury hides seamlessly in clouds, sea fog, and distant horizons. Although skittish and skeptical, the Light Fury also shares Toothless' deep sense of empathy and will always wield her plasma blast to defend any in need. Temporarily transforms each scale into a reflective surface that mirrors the Light Fury’s surroundings, essentially rendering her invisible. Physical Features
Cat-like eyes
Long, thin ridge running down the spine
Triangular tail flukes
Four small nubs on the head
Long, thin ridge on legs
Colors
White with a blue and pink tint
Physical Description
Hatchling to Adult
Light Furies greatly resemble Night Furies, but they are sleeker and less heavy with lighter coloring and glimmering textures that include white, blue, and pink. They possess a long, single spine running down the center of their back and light blue eyes. They also have two pairs of ear-like appendages on the top of their heads and a pink-colored nose. They also have some very light blue on their underbelly/chest area and feet. They are also somewhat smaller than Night Furies.
Abilities & Weaknesses
Abilities
Firepower Light Furies are capable of firing explosive plasma blasts that are identical to the ones produced by Night Furies. In the same respect, Light Furies have an amount of control over when their flame blasts explode in the air.
Cloaking Light Furies possess the ability to seemingly disappear by flying through the blasts of their plasma fire. This is, in fact, a form of cloaking that occurs when they heat up the trace silicates in their skin, this causes their scales to have mirror-like qualities, allowing them to temporarily blend in with their surroundings using reflection of the light.
Intelligence Just like Night Furies, Light Furies are very intelligent, as one can quickly fly away upon sensing danger and understanding a human's plea to save another dragon.
Weaknesses
Just like Night Furies, Light Furies are unable to fly if one of their tail flukes is destroyed. Like all dragons, Light Furies are also susceptible to Deathgripper venom, with one vial being enough to subdue one into submission.
Behavior & Training
Personality Just like Night Furies, Light Furies are very intelligent and very elusive. They seem to be sociable towards other dragons, but highly aggressive towards humans. Light Furies also seem to be more aggressive and are more willing to attack than Night Furies (though this could be because the female Light Fury had been attacked first by humans). Training Due to not having too much contact with humans, Light Furies are very aggressive towards them. However, a Light Fury's trust can be slowly earned. If a person helps a Light Fury or saves its life, the dragon will return the favor, and will from then on be a friend.

Short Description The rarest and most intelligent of the dragon species, the Night Fury is distinguished by its dark color and piercing yellow eyes. Physical Features
Cat-like eyes
Ear-like appendages
Nubs and tendrils protruding from head
Secondary wings
Tail fins
Colors
Jet black with slightly lighter spots
Physical Description
Egg
Night Fury eggs are oblong, almost similar to that of a chicken egg, and are smooth. To blend in with the night sky, they are jet black albeit with lighter blemishes. Hatchling to Adult
The Night Fury somewhat resembles an axolotl or a gecko in general appearance and has two pairs of wings with a shape similar to a bat, two mobile, ear-like appendages on the back of its head that show its mood and help it hear, as well as other pairs around their jaw depending on their age. They also have a pair of large, yellowish-green, cat-like eyes and sharp retractable teeth. Unlike most dragon species, the Night Fury lacks any kind of horns. The tip of the snout is also prominent, resembling the rhinarium of a mammal. The dragon is 26 feet in length.
The Night Fury's wingspan is 45 feet, making it resemble some sort of a jet plane. This allows it to fly faster than any of the other dragon species. It uses tail fins on its tail to help steer and maneuver, similar to an airplane rudder. However, a Night Fury will be incapable of flying if one of these fins is missing or destroyed, which shows that they are also used for ballast in flight. It is capable of taking flight from a standing start like a pigeon.
Abilities & Weaknesses
Abilities
Firepower The Night Fury can shoot bursts of purple-colored flames, composed of ionized oxyacetylene. Plasma blasts explode directly upon impact, sometimes exploding in midair at higher altitudes because of the cut off oxygen supply.
Dive-bombing The Night Furies' main type of attack is dive-bombing. Night Furies fold their wings to create a streamlined, aerodynamic shape while they dive from the sky, helping them to achieve greater speed while they accelerate downwards. It has been observed that at the last moment, Night Furies open their wings to create the drag, then lift off. The blast can do great amounts of damage.
Stealth The Night Fury's jet black color and dark scales make it nearly impossible to spot in the night sky. The only warnings that it gives is the sound of the dive-bombing with a loaded blast, right before it attacks with a powerful plasma blast, as well as the stars disappearing behind it. The only way to spot a Night Fury flying at night is when it passes its flame-engulfed blast.
Cloaking/Lightning Camouflage Much like Light Furies, Night Furies are capable of cloaking. This allows them to blend into their surroundings. They do this by summoning lightning from the sky to turn their scales reflective and become temporarily invisible, although it has been shown to use up a lot of their energy. As a Night Fury enters its 'cloaked form', it causes a massive wave of electrical energy that electrocutes everything within a close radius.
Speed and Agility The Night Fury is among the fastest known dragons. It is said to reach speeds that break the sound barrier. The Night Fury's streamlined sleek-shaped body and massive powerful wings help it obtain a speed limit rivaling a real-life P-51 Mustang. Night Furies don't have sharp spikes or spines, instead, they have short and thin fin-like spines. The reason for this is because the short fin-shaped spines prevent greater air resistance than tall sharp spines. This gives the Night Fury a huge advantage in high-speed flight.
Echolocation When Night Furies are at locations where their sight is limited, making it hard to fly, they can use a special signal. This signal, taking the shape of purple-colored sound waves, bounces off of all objects and obstacles nearby and allows the dragon to avoid them, even in mid-flight. Unlike bats, this signal, or at least part of it, is still low enough to be within the human hearing range; humans can hear the dragon using the signal. Night Furies can also use this method when they are trying to find an object in open areas where visibility is low.
Alpha Dominance Display When the Night Fury's "Alpha" mode is unleashed, its spines, the ridge between its eyes, the inside of its mouth, and its nose glow with a translucent blue, reminiscent of the blueish plasma blasts it fires.
Weaknesses
Night Furies have very few weaknesses, making them hard to combat. However, a dragon root arrow could render them weak and vulnerable for some time, while other dragons can recover faster.
The Night Furies' large wings make them vulnerable to powerful sheering winds if they were to attempt a prolonged hover in such conditions.
The Night Furies' dual tail fins on their tails allow them to remain stabilized in flight. If one is damaged, missing, or cut/sliced off, they will be unable to fly.
Night Furies are unable to survive in consistently cold environments like tundras, snowy mountains, or arctic islands.
Night Furies are also unable to fly for long distances without resting/sleeping, which can make them easy to track or hunt down.
Behavior & Training
Personality According to the Dragon Manual, the Night Fury is considered to be so mysterious and feared, that it was often called the "unholy offspring of lightning and death itself." Night Furies are generally very aggressive to any form of threat that they find, similar to how most dragons used to treat the Vikings of Berk.
Though they keep themselves closely guarded when they warm up to others, Night Furies are also curious creatures that attempt to understand new things they observe and are intelligent enough to attempt to recreate the actions that they see. They are also incredibly playful, intrigued by the littlest of things like flying sparks.
Night Furies are very capable of communicating, and seemingly understanding human speech. Night Furies are generally expressive animals. Night Furies greatly resemble cats, dogs, and bats.Night Furies resemble bats because they hang themselves upside down, are nocturnal, and use some form of echolocation. They also resemble dogs because they are playful and very loyal when trained, and focus on what humans are saying. Training Night Furies are very reclusive and distrustful. If ever found, the first step to training it would be to gain its attention, as Hiccup did by presenting it with fish and drawing him in the dirt. Next, one has to gain its trust and show that you are of no threat which Hiccup had done by throwing away his knife. Like training most other dragons, training this dragon requires mutual respect and trust. After that, the good old method of strengthening a bond by placing a hand on his snout works best.

Short Description Skrills do not breathe fire. Instead, they channel lightning down their metallic spines, firing it from their mouths in a shower of destructive blasts. They can also store this electrical power in their bodies an release it later on. Because of this unique firepower, Skrills tend to gravitate towards stormy weather. If you find yourself flying through a thunderstorm, watch out! Skrills are also tough. They can take a lot of damage in battle, and give as good as they get. However, the Skrill has one weakness...it cannot fire its lightning from the water. Force a Skrill into the ocean, and it loses the upper hand. They can hibernate in icy glaciers for decades at a time, and emerge as fierce as the day they were frozen. Physical Features
Sharp metallic spines on the back
Long wing claws
Spiked crown on the head
Beard-like spikes under the chin
Colors
Dark gray with purple markings and lighter belly
Light purple with grey markings and white underbelly
Dark blue with light blue markings and lighter blue underbelly
Black with purple markings and white underbelly
Grey with blue markings and blue underbelly
Physical Description
Egg
Skrill eggs are round and usually come in shades of blue or purple. The color of the hatchling can be told by the color of the eggs. They are covered in what looks like lightning bolts zapping around it. Its center core glows very brightly, although it is unknown if the bolts are actually electric or if they are just ornamental. Hatchling to Adult
The Skrill has large wings and a spiked back and tail. These spines are metallic in nature and conduct the arcing electricity that it uses as its unique firepower.
The Skrill possess a crown of spikes on its head which are all nearly the same length. The Skrill's crown can also be used to give it expression, as it is able to control them to be pulled back or forward. Skrills have three short spines on their chin. It also appears to have four shark-like gills on its neck.
Its head slightly resembles that of a Thunderdrum or a Flightmare. The proportion of its head, body, and wings are quite close to that of a Flightmare's. It apparently resembles a Night Fury in flight and rivals its speed, being only slightly slower. It's the size of a Deadly Nadder, but incredibly fast, comparing speed to size. Titan Wing
Titan Wing Skrills still resemble their younger counterparts. However, they are now larger and teal blue, instead of purple, and their mouth is light blue. Also, the spines on their back are longer and sharper, as well as appearing to glow green at the bases. The talons on their wings have grown significantly thicker, and start black at their base and lighten to a shade of green. Their wings are black, but fade to a light blue at the edges.
Abilities & Weaknesses
Abilities
Electrokinesis The Skrill is an electrical dragon. It can absorb and store lightning's electrical energy. Using its metallic spines, it can channel lightning through its body and fire out destructive blasts through its mouth. Skrills obtain their lightning blasts from absorbing electrical charges from thunderclouds. Since the electrical charges in thunderclouds are very active, Skrills can achieve very powerful firepower. Skrills also have the ability to direct multiple bolts of lightning, striking things around themselves, making them greatly feared by Vikings. They can also store the electrical energy in their bodies and use it at a later time. Its ability to harness and store electricity gives it a static field, making your hair stand on end if you get too close. The Skrill most likely has a powerful electrolyte in its scales, which it can use to create powerful electrical charges throughout its body with static electricity, and also create a conductor for electricity to travel freely on its body.
Riding Lightning The Skrill is able to "ride" lightning bolts. The Skrill is able to use the energy of lightning to accelerate very quickly and fly at hypersonic speeds.
Electrical Field Skrills are able to create an electrical field, that acts similar to a force field. It does this by redirecting energy through its wings, as the electricity forms together by closing its wings together and springing its tail upwards. It then forms a small electrical field that can be used to block itself from projectiles, similar to how a Seashocker does to protect itself from predators.
Weaknesses
The Skrill's primary weakness is water. It cannot channel electricity and loses all firepower when it is wet. If you force a Skrill to fall in the water, it will lose its upper hand. However, the Skrill can quickly regain its ability to channel lightning and electricity after getting out of the water.
Behavior & Training
Personality One of the most mysterious and feared species in the Dragon Manual, the Skrill is aggressive, powerful, and nearly untrainable. It appears to be almost as feared as the Night Fury, due to the Berserkers who used to harness the Skrill and use it as a weapon. This reclusive dragon is belligerent and as unpredictable as lightning strikes. It is very territorial, despite following stormy weather.
They are known to be very elusive and are distrusting towards other species of dragons and humans. Skrills tend to gravitate towards lightning storms to defend themselves against potential predators or to quickly recharge their shot limit. They are known to be very fierce and will act recklessly without thinking when released if trapped in the ice for too long. Training Training a Skrill is incredibly difficult, close to impossible. They are aggressive and stubborn, refusing to be trained even in times of crisis. However, by treating it with respect and showing it mercy instead of hurting it, thus showing that you can accept the Skrill for what it is, you can gain its trust. The Skrill would return its gratitude with a dignified bow.

And when the chill wind roars, it might be the weather, or it might be the Snow Wraith descending upon its next victims. Physical Features
Long ledge under chin
Spikes on tail
Bumpy tongue

Long eyebrow-like appendages
Colors

Physical Description
Egg
A Snow Wraith's egg is pale white in color. It has little protrusions on the sides and larger ones on top, all of which are tipped with dark brown. The egg looks as if it was carved out of wood. Hatchling to Adult
The Snow Wraith has a snowy white body and blue eyes. It possesses two legs and broad wings. The Snow Wraith is the only Strike Class dragon to have significantly different types of teeth. Sharp, pointy teeth that are used for biting and tearing cover most of its mouth, while two prominent tusks used for grabbing protrude from its lower jaw. The teeth that are the key to open the Dragon Eye are known to be found just in front of the large tusks. Also, this dragon has a long ledge under its chin and what resembles thick eyebrows. The Snow Wraith has a long tail covered with spikes and a thick, fleshy tongue with bump-like features on it. It has two claws and toes on its feet. The Snow Wraith's wings are unique in terms of structure. The humerus bone ( arm bone connected to the body) is the only part of the wing connected to the body, with the rest of the wing structure is hanging outside of the body. This allows the Snow Wraith to easily walk on four limbs as the wing fingers that stretch to the back of the wing are placed in a very unique way, some of them are close to each other, while the next one would be further apart. This also presumably makes its humerus very strong; while most dragons require extra support from the rest of its wings for speed and stability, the Snow Wraith is still able to fly at very high speeds. Titan Wing
Titan Wing Snow Wraiths have a grayish blue body color with some grey spots and stripes on its back. Large spikes protrude from its back and down to its tail. The ledge under its chin has developed into two sharp horns and this titan has developed some protuberances near its chin. Two longer canines protrude from its lower jaw and it has massive large claws.
Abilities & Weaknesses
Abilities
Thermal Vision The Snow Wraith has a thermal vision that allows it to track prey even during the most blustery blizzard. It has the ability to detect body heat in the form of heat signatures, which is similar to a pit viper. Cold temperatures appear as green or blue while warmer ones appear yellow to dark pink. Snow Wraiths can also distinguish shapes from their thermal vision, similar to seeing visually, which helps it identify objects.
Firepower The Snow Wraith's fire type is frost fusillade, which can blast objects multiple times at one succession. Their frost is emitted in thick, concentrated blasts that seem to glow as it emerges from the dragons' mouth and is ejected rapidly. When having a fusillade in its firepower, the Snow Wraith hardly ever misses.
Burrowing The Snow Wraith is able to burrow through ice and snow with its claws. They are able to burrow very fast, as fast as a Whispering Death, even through solid ice. It is a very effective method and can be used for flanking enemies in an ice cave. Snow Wraiths dig up an ice cave in order to hibernate during the summer.
Weaknesses
Even though it is stated that the Snow Wraith has no known vulnerabilities, it does have a weakness: it is unable to see its prey if it is at the same temperature as the environment around it. In addition, they are said to have incredibly poor eyesight and have to rely on the heat signatures of their prey and opponents to tell where they are. This makes the Snow Wraith close to being visually blind.
Behavior & Training
Personality The elusive Snow Wraith is tough, highly aggressive, and a relentless hunter, known for its vicious and predatory nature. It likes to attack when it cannot be seen. As such, it often strikes when a snowstorm approaches, which are quite frequent on Glacier Island. Snow Wraiths also attack in ice caves. It can burrow through the ice to flank enemies or take cover. Snow Wraiths are very adapted to this kind of attack; they are very fast at firing, flanking and burrowing. They can also work efficiently within a small familial social group.

Physical Description
Short Description Vicious. Aggressive. Belligerent. These are only three of the words that describe the Triple Stryke in battle and the incredible fury it unleashes with its trio of braided tails. Displaying an ornery disposition from the beginning of their lives, Triple Strykes make the ideal champions in underground combat arenas. With their barbed hides that deflect attacks, their intense fire blasts that blind opponents, and their tail triad that braids into a single powerful weapon, a Triple Stryke wins most bouts on intimidation alone. But victory sometimes breeds vanity and exploiting this overconfidence is often the only way to defeat a Triple Stryke in battle. A Triple Stryke's braided tail is a force to be reckoned with, but each tail produces a unique venom: A sting from the first tail numbs combatants, the second disorients them with mild hallucinogens, and the third creates an agonizing of burning in your very blood. Physical Features
Three tails that tie together to form one
Two ear-like appendages on head
Large pincers as forearms
Colors
Brownish-black with orange stripes and a yellow underbelly
Physical Description
Egg
Triple Stryke eggs are smooth and oblong shaped with some small nubs on it. Hatchling to Adult
The Triple Stryke is a stockily built, arachnid-like dragon with armored plates on its back that resembles an armadillo's and two legs. It has two ear-like appendages on its head. The most notable feature has to be its thick, braided tail that can unwind and split into three thinner ones. Each tail is equipped with a stinger, much like a scorpion. Their forelimbs act as pincers, which also resemble that of a scorpion. Titan Wing
Titan Wing Triple Strykes now have two pairs of horns on their heads, as well as larger and sharper dorsal spines. Their tails have silver, gold and bronze tones, with details on its orange wings and different designs on their body and wings.
Abilities & Weaknesses
Abilities
Triple Tails The Triple Stryke has triple tails, all three with stingers at the end and all that braid into one dangerous tail.
Stinging On the tip of each of the Triple Stryke's three tails, there is a stinger, each one producing its own unique venom: The first numbs opponents, the second disorients them with mild hallucinogens, and the third creates the agonizing sensation of your blood burning. Triple Strykes use their tails as their primary source of attack and defense, as they prefer not to use their fire as much, as it requires a lot of energy.
Tail Whipping The Triple Stryke's tails can also be used as a whip if they are not in a position for stinging. When the tails are combined, they can effectively whip or smack the Triple Stryke's opponents. The Triple Stryke can whip a total of three Vikings with its tails, each is powerful enough to smack a Viking. Unlike stinging, which is mainly used for attacks, tail whipping is mainly used for defense.
Prehensile Tail The Triple Stryke's tail is prehensile, which makes it able to wrap around objects and grasp them with one, or more of its tails. This can be used to hold dragons, Vikings, or other objects. If only one tail is used to grasp an enemy dragon, Viking, or its prey, it can then devour them or use its other two other tails to sting them.
Defense Roll The Triple Stryke has been seen to often perform a fast spinning roll as it comes into battle, similar to Hideous Zippleback dragons. The roll can be used for defense as it has a thick hide, and its underbelly won't be exposed. The Triple Stryke can also use this for an ambush attack, as its spins really fast before landing and striking its opponents with its tails, without being noticed or harmed. It can also be used if the Triple Stryke needs to get near its opponents without getting injured.
Weaknesses
Triple Strykes can be very vain and over-confident, and these can result in their own downfalls during combat.
The Triple Stryke's underbelly is weaker than the rest of its body, meaning that an attack on the underbelly could result in serious injury.
Behavior & Training
Personality Triple Strykes are merciless and formidable, stopping at no cost to destroy their opponents. Their sheer confidence and intimidating stature are enough to scare other dragons. With its incredible skills, these dragons are arrogant and sometimes over-confident, loving to flaunt its abilities. These dragons are vicious and relentless. They are also rather scrappy, willing to pick a fight with any other dragon.
These dragons, however, are quite misunderstood. While seemingly merciless, these dragons do repay their debts and are incredibly grateful. They will stop at no cost to express their gratitude and respect. Training These dragons are fierce and vicious, thus they are extremely hard to train. However, these dragons do repay their debts. If shown mercy and kindness, the dragon will treat you with respect and compassion and will stop at nothing to protect you.

Short Description The fine dark scales on the back of this blizzard-loving Strike Class dragon are often mistaken for fur at a distance, but this dragon is far from cuddly. The Woolly Howl's pale belly lets it blend in with the cold white clouds in the sky. It uses this cover to launch a literal hailstorm of ice balls. Physical Features
Fur-like scales
Tail fins
Purple mouth and eyes
Segmented underbelly
Colors
Dark brown with pale belly
Physical Description
Egg
The eggs are oval and look somewhat like regular bird eggs. They are rather plain, normally found pale brown or tan. They have patterns that look like tan spots or scales packed closely together on their shell. Hatchling to Adult
The Woolly Howl's appearance is similar to that of a Night Fury, but it has smaller eyes, and its wing structure resembles that of a Skrill's. Its body is covered in fine dark scales, which at a distance, look like fur. It has a dark brown coloration on its back and a pale brown coloration on its underside, wings, and tail fins. It has a unique vibrant purple eye color, as well as a purple tongue. There are no spines or spikes along its whole body, but it has a small hump at the withers that creates a sloped back. The dark brown coloration and the shape of its scales resemble that of a golden eagle's feathers or a brown bear's fur and is named due to its strong resemblance to a woolly mammoth. Titan Wing
Titan Woolly Howls are larger and stronger than adult ones. They have much larger scales, especially on the tips of their wings, which are almost as long as the wing's breadth. Those scales appear to be a little sharp at the edge. Their scales are light purple in color, with tints of blue at the tip of their scales. The scales gradually turn darker in color as it progresses to the edge of its wings. There are razor-sharp talons by the end of their wing bones. Their entire body, apart from its belly, is covered with large scales.
Abilities & Weaknesses
Abilities
Endurance The Woolly Howl is an extremely tough dragon, able to last for a long time in battle. It is also able to tolerate blizzard storms and fly within them seemingly unaffected. This is partially because of the thick coat of fur it has to protect it from getting to cold.
Firepower The Woolly Howl is one of the few dragons which can shoot ice blasts. Being in the Strike Class, it can fire its highly explosive ice blasts from a far distance with a lot of power and pin-point accuracy.
Stealth The Woolly Howl's pale coloration enables it to blend in with the clouds and mountain ranges it lives in. Its claws on its wings may allow it to cling to mountainsides. While its belly is pale, it blends in with the clouds when viewed from below. Its darker brown back blends in with the darker mountains when viewed from above.
Weaknesses
Unknown
Behavior & Training
Personality The Woolly Howl's ability to resist blizzard storms gives it the advantage over other dragons. They can use this to make an ambushed attack on their prey like a Snow Wraith. Like all Strike Class dragons, the Woolly Howl is stealthy and very dangerous. Its pale belly camouflages with the clouds, and it can fire its ice blast when not being spotted, similar to an unexpected hailstorm. Its brown coloration may allow it to camouflage on craggy mountainsides, though this is unconfirmed. Like all Strike Class dragons, it is highly intelligent. A powerful dragon like this will need to be taught to behave and act like a responsible dragon. Its high intelligence makes it a difficult but excellent dragon for training.
