With the return of the dragons, and the rise of Dragon Hunters as a result, the need for Dragon Riders has never been greater. Hiccup and the rest of the original Dragon Riders have started training the next generation to fulfill their mission: ensure the safety of the dragons. A whole new set of Dragon Riders will be in charge of the safety of the archipelago. They will explore further and discover even more new dragons while protecting their home.
Stoker Class dragons are hotheaded fire breathers. This class includes dragons that can set themselves on fire, as well as most of the smaller dragon species. A Stoker Class dragon losing its fire is a sign that it is going to die, although its flames can be reignited by a Fireworm Queen's venom or by eating their Flame Gel combs.
Click the links below, or scroll down, to see information about the dragons in this Class.
Short Description One Fireworm is a problem, one thousand fireworms are a catastrophy! The average fireworm often lives in a massive colony led by a single Fireworm Queen. The Queen can lay thousands of eggs in her lifetime, kept in the expansive Firecomb nests. Though deeply protective of her children, the Fireworm isn't a malicious species, if an intruder returns stolen Firecomb or backs off quickly, she might just let them leave in one piece.
Although her sting is lethal to most humans and dragons, it actually possesses a restorative power for all Stoker Class dragons. One bite from a Fireworm Queen can reignite a Stoker's flailing flames and bring them back to full firepower. Physical Features
4-5 pairs of legs
Glowing Body
Long twisted horns(queens)
Colors
Golden-brown body
Tan spots
Tan horns and underbelly
Physical Description
Egg
the Fireworm egg is oval-shaped and has an obvious scale pattern. It has small spikes protruding from its sides and slightly larger ones jut out from the top. Their eggs are normally orange or red in color. Hatchling to Adult
Common Fireworms are only about a few inches in length. They have orangish-brown scales that glow a bright golden orange color when lit up. They also have five pairs of legs for a total of ten legs and white eyes that glow in the dark. They strongly resemble lizards, with their wide heads and long bodies. When they ignite, they glow orange, and sometimes even light their bodies on fire. Titan Wing
Titan Wing Fireworms are very colorful. They have a neon green body with distinctive scales. Their head, tail and half their wing bones have hints of cyan while the other half of the wing bone is yellow. The protuberances at the back of their head are yellow too. Their wings are blue in color. A row of thin spines run along their back and they have five pairs of legs.
Abilities & Weaknesses
Abilities
Body Temperature and Glow All Fireworms can heat up their skin to a temperature expressed to be hotter than the sun, hot enough to be able to burn almost anything. While doing so they also generate a great amount of light, and sometimes, they even set themselves and surfaces they walk on aflame.
Venomous Tongue & Healing Venom Fireworm's tongue is capable of injecting a potent venom fatal to all animals, Vikings, and most dragons. That same venom, however, can also be used to reignite a Stoker Class dragon's worn-out fire, preventing their imminent death.
Firecomb Fireworms produce a wax-like substance called Firecomb which they utilize to construct their hives. They also produce a liquid version called Firecomb Gel, the source of their heat and fire power, which is stored in solid Firecomb containers in the nest for later consumption. The Queens appear to be the individuals that produce the most Firecomb in a nest, and will endlessly pursue anyone that attempts to steal even a single container of Firecomb Gel.
Weaknesses
Small Size The average drone's minuscule size seems to be it's greatest weakness, as they're incredibly small and susceptible to all the dangers that come along with that.
Pyrophobia Drones seem to be afraid of fire, specifically the fire of other dragons.
Behavior & Training
Personality These dragons are often found in large groups. This makes them extremely dangerous. They are even remotely aggressive, occasionally clinging to potential enemies. Fireworms usually wander away from the nest and live normal lives, often in other islands, but regularly return to their nest to replenish their fire and contribute a portion of their gel to the nest stocks. Fireworms tend to set surfaces they walk on and touch on fire, often causing forest wildfires. They might do this to defend themselves from predators.
Usually Fireworms make their homes in dark caverns with series of complex tunnels. Fireworm Queens are very protective of their firecombs of gel and eggs will chase down anything that tries to take it, or fight to the death to defend them against intruders. As she is a mother, the Queen has a devoted, discreet nature even on rage to take back her firecombs, and being highly intelligent as being capable of conjecturing the intruders' motives and objectives. Training Though the average fireworm has never been seen being trained, some tribes will use them in lanterns as a source of light. Fireworm Queens are naturally highly aggressive and territorial which makes them rather hard to approach mostly due to them having to protect their nests and young. However, once trained they show their very gentle and benevolent side, protecting their trainers like one of their own. To train one show it you are gentle and responsible and pose no threat to the welfare of the nest, and help her fulfill her duties around the nest, especially tending to her young. Once you appear as no threat, the Queen will accept and respect you, and even seek you for aid.

Short Description Only the bravest of Vikings will be able to train and bond with this fiery dragon as it can be quite the surprise to see a dragon seamlessly detach their tail. Don't forget its swirling explosions and swift agility to speed up in flight! Physical Features
Membranes between the fingers
Dark-colored stripes
Thick spiked tail
Gecko-like appearance
Colors
Dark stripes on a base of a bright color and a darker color
Multi-colored
Physical Description
Egg
Flame Whipper eggs are colored blue on the center while the bottom and top gradients to a shade of bright yellow. The egg is also covered in black patterned stripes and spots Hatchling to Adult
Flame Whippers come in many different color combinations, but traditional ones have yellow heads, shoulders, and sections of their tails. The rest of their body is mostly blue. They have black stripes running over their body and the underneath of their wings is orange. Small spines run along their back and tails, as well as the side of their tails.
Abilities & Weaknesses
Abilities
Detachable and Poisonous tail Like a gecko, the Flame Whipper can detach its tail if it is in danger. It can do this due to a break in-between the spinal bones in its back and tail, which allow it's tail to detach on command. The tail wiggles once detached, attracting predators to it. However, the tail is filled with an acidic poison that can briefly paralyze predators, making them think twice before attacking another Flame Whipper.
Wall Climbing The Flame Whipper is capable of walking on walls. Due to its gecko-like body, it is likely it has sticky toe-pads that allow it to stick to walls like a gecko. The Flame Whipper can even stay upside down on slippery surfaces, such as the ceiling of a cave, with little to no struggle.
Stretchable Tongue The Flame Whipper's tongue is capable of being stretched to a decent length, which likely helps in catching food. It can also use this tongue to help aim its fire, increasing its accuracy.
Firepower The Flame Whipper shoots swirling explosions of fire, which can be made more accurate thanks to its stretchable tongue. Unlike other dragons' fire, which tends to hit the target as one mass, a Flame Whipper's fire is lashed on.
Weaknesses
Antidote The Flame Whipper's poison does have an antidote, which is created by neutralizing its acidity.
Behavior & Training
Personality The Flame Whippers are very territorial and aggressive dragons. They live in packs and are very protective of their young. If humans enter their nest, the Flame Whippers will follow them to make sure they don't represent a threat and even attack them to keep them out of their territory. Flame Whippers are easiest to train as babies or juveniles, but adults are normally untrainable.
On the contrary, the babies are very curious and will sometimes wander off by themselves to explore their surroundings.
Additional Information
Flame Whippers can be found on the following islands: Hidden World Impossible Island
Short Description To help it take off, build speed, and even fly straight, this Dragon releases a blast of gas from behind. Needless to say; never sneak up on a Gobsucker! Let this dragon fight from afar. Its acid blasts may burn through enemies, but its back-gas-blast will destroy everyone else! Physical Features
Striped pattern on body
Spike-like frill
Horn on nose
Colors
Green or blue
Black stripes on body and head
Physical Description
Egg
Gobsucker eggs are large and oval-shaped. They have the main color, with a lighter bottom that glows and a few circular stripes. The eggs have small rock-like structures around their base, which keep them in a vertical position. Hatchling to Adult
This dragon is small in size. It has a small horn on its nose and a spiked crest on the back of its head. Its snout is broad. The Gobsucker's build is rather stocky and it has large, flat feet that resembles to an elephant's. Most Gobsuckers have stripes on their body and limbs and a pale underbelly. Its overall appearance is very similar to a Triceratops Dinosaur. Titan Wing
Titan Wing Gobsuckers have pink heads, wings, and backs. On their back, legs, and tail they have the same striping as the Broad Wings age group, but are purple instead. They have more spikes on their heads and an increased number along their backs. Their nasal horns are larger, as well as the single talons on their wings. The body color of the Titan Wing Gobsucker grades from purple above to a dark greenish-blue on the legs.
Abilities & Weaknesses
Abilities
Firepower Unlike most dragons, which emit fire from their mouths, scales (Monstrous Nightmare), or tails (Singetail), the Gobsucker shoots flammable gases such as sulfuric compounds from its rear end. This fire, while used offensively, also helps the dragon fly straighter, faster, and to take off.
Acid The Gobsucker can shoot acid blasts from its mouth, which has a very long range and can burn through flesh.
Gas A Gobstucker's flammable gasses emitted from its rear are also malodorous, serving as a defensive mechanism to repel threats. The odor is likened to that of rotten eggs.
Weaknesses
Gaseous Limitations Gobsuckers cannot shoot any fire at someone unless they are behind them. Other than that the only other offensive variable they have is their strength. It also can't fly if it is out of shots.
Intelligence Gobsuckers are generally not known as being as intelligent as some other dragon species. They are able to be fooled into thinking rocks are their eggs, which makes them vulnerable to nefarious humans.
Behavior & Training
Personality Gobsuckers spend most of their time eating anything they can digest, from human food to rocks. After they finish their meal, they emit a foul odor from their rear ends, which spreads around quickly.

Short Description More sensitive than most other Stoker Class Dragons, it changes color depending on its mood: Yellow means happy, purple means curious, and red means... RUN!
The Hobblegrunt will take on anything its opponent dishes out in combat, and then will dish it right back! Physical Features
Large head frill
Tail fin
Underbite
Colors
Purple: Curious
Yellow: Happy
Red: Angry
Physical Description
Egg
The egg of a Hobblegrunt has several ridges that look similar to the fins of an adult Hobblegrunt. It is unknown if the fins are for protection, or just for appearance. They are usually green and yellow in color. Hatchling to Adult
Hobblegrunts are colorful creatures. These dragons are bipedal, but they have two small forelimbs with long claws. They have long, but surprisingly strong, thin necks. Their heads are large, with a big jaw that has an underbite, showing their many teeth. They have a small nose horn, in the front of their heads with their eyes just behind the horn. At the back of the skulls, they have a massive fin that acts like a giant radar. They can move this fin to better perceive their environment. Down their back, they have short spikes. Their bodies are long, but their large tails help them balance whilst on land. The tail ends in a fin that helps for stabilization during flight. Titan Wing
Titan Wing Hobblegrunts have a larger head frill with small 'horns' on the edges, which resembles that of a ceratopsian dinosaur. It has two large pale pink spots on it. They are mainly light blue in color. Their necks are clearly segmented and their winks have pink rings on it. Additionally, these Titans have grown four small spikes on their long, slender tails and a sail-like fin on their backs.
Abilities & Weaknesses
Abilities
Color Changing The Hobblegrunt is able to change its colors like a chameleon, and it even does so for a similar reason, as, contrary to popular belief, chameleons change color to communicate and show their emotions, similarly to the Hobblegrunt. This ability is also similar to the color changing of the Changewing. However, instead of doing it for defensive purposes, it changes color depending on its mood. It can use this ability to calm other dragons
Firepower Hobblegrunts are able to breathe powerful streams of red fire, similar to other dragons in their class.
Detecting Frill Using the large frill on its head, the Hobblegrunt is able to detect the subtle shifts in temperature, barometric pressure, and the emotional states of nearby dragons or humans. This means that, even if they are blinded, a Hobblegrunt can still navigate the terrain easily.
Hobblegrunts also have the ability to alter the behavior of other dragons in their vicinity, either to calm them or rile them up in the face of a common enemy.
Strength and Combat Hobblegrunts are able to carry humans on their backs and longboats that are loaded with a multitude of objects without any signs of struggle. They are also capable on taking on multiple enemies by diving fast and crashing into them.
Endurance and Stamina Hobblegrunts can quickly get up after crash-landing or after being freed from a trap.
Hobblegrunts can travel long distances while also carrying a great amount of extra weight with them without showing any signs of exhaustion.
Weaknesses
Color Changing The color changing properties of this dragon can allow hunters or foes to determine its weaknesses or whether or not it is aware of its surroundings.
Behavior & Training
Personality These dragons are usually calm and sensitive. They don't make too much noise, but when it senses an unpleasant atmosphere, it can become aggressive. Hobblegrunts prefer to stay in the shadows, and only come out if they are sure that there is no danger for them. Training Hobblegrunts are relatively easy to train, as they are calm and peaceful dragons. If a person saves a Hobblegrunt's life, the dragon will be forever thankful and will stay close to its savior.

Physical Description
Egg
Large Shadow Wing's egg is similar to that of a Small Shadow Wing. However, it is light green in color and has five dark green spikes on it instead of two. Hatchling to Adult
The Large Shadow Wing is a large green dragon with wide jaws, stocky body, and large wings akin to that of a bomber plane. Its legs are also quite stocky, and it has spaced-out triangular spines that run along its back. The Large Shadow Wing's head also slightly resembles a mix between a whale's and a snapping turtle's. Titan Wing
A Titan Wing Large Shadow is dark green with red spots all over the body. Additional tail fins grow on its tail, several spikes grow on its head and the wings develop a small claw. It is also larger in size.
Abilities & Weaknesses
Abilities
Intelligence The Large Shadow Wing is intelligent enough to give the Small Shadows protection and cooperate with them to take down any potential threat.
Bomber Formation The Large Shadow's most iconic feature is its ability to gather Small Shadows to attach to its wings, firing blasts in rapid succession while the Large Shadow Wing acts as a giant carrier. This makes the dragon look like a large fighter jet.
Weaknesses
Due to their large size, Large Shadow Wings aren't as fast or agile to keep up with smaller dragons like the Night Fury.
Behavior & Training
Personality The Large Shadow Wing is a powerful and fearsome dragon that forms a symbiotic relationship with the Small Shadow Wings. It usually relies on Small Shadows to do its work, but it will take matter into its own claws.

2 pairs of horns at back of chin
Nasal horn
Spiky back
Colors
Light Orange with Black horns and Spikes with Lighter patterns
Purple with lilac spots and Black horns
Physical Description
Egg
The Moldruffle's egg is shaped much like a bird's. It has several curved ridges that slop towards the base of the egg that make it look somewhat like a pine cone or a sea-patterned, carved wood with bright orange and red light glowing from it. The color of the egg determines the color after the dragon hatches. Hatchling to Adult
The Moldruffle looks a lot like the Snafflefang in terms of appearance and build. Its head is shaped to be like a hunter, rather than a scavenger or fisher. The spikes on its back are unusual, since most dragons with spikes have a neat and smooth pattern. The Moldruffle has a random pattern of varying spikes. They also seem to have talons at the tips of their wings which they ignite during their special ability. Titan Wing
Titan Wing Moldruffles are red in color with blue and red stripes on their wings and blue stripes on their back and tail. They have more black spikes on their backs.
Abilities & Weaknesses
Abilities
Hunting The Moldruffle is an excellent hunter, and it has sharp, long-range vision to help spot its prey. They are intelligent cat-like dragons in their natural behavior, with keen hunting senses. They are quick and precise and can glide through strong winds.
Speed and Stamina These dragons have an aerodynamic build, making them quick and extremely agile hunters. They also have a lot of stamina and are known to travel great distances.
Weaknesses
The Moldruffle's number one (and so far its only) weakness is the fact that it is easily distracted, so some of the Berk Dragon Riders could distract a Moldruffle while the others captured it if it ever became a problem.
Behavior & Training
Personality The Moldruffle is incredibly catlike in nature. They are intelligent and curious. Its keen senses are quickly distracted, and it switches it's focus from one thing to another. They are also stealthy and sneaky, other traits associated with cats, as seen with Dirt-Hurler's battle strategy and Jewelbilant's sneaking of shiny objects.

Colors
Various common colors
Most have dark stripes that turn into spots through age
Physical Description
Egg
The Monstrous Nightmare eggs have a surface that looks like they were made of cloth or leather folded together, with a spotted pattern on the base. Its colors vary and they match the colors of the dragon to be born. Hatchling to Adult
Monstrous Nightmares come in many different colors such as purple, blue, scarlet, or green and possesses a long, snakelike neck and tail. Unlike some other breeds of dragon, it has no forelegs, and its ground-based locomotion is similar to that of Pterosaurs, except that it has a lower profile due to its sprawled wings; it can use its claw-tipped wings to "crawl" along the floor. The Monstrous Nightmare is 60 feet long, has a wingspan of 68 feet and weighed about 5,000 lbs. Titan Wing
While aging, they can lose their stripes to have black spots, similar to the leopard. When they are fully grown and gain barbels, some of them change color when they achieve Titan Wing age. The sails they possessed as adults become rows of separate spikes. Once they have reached this stage they grow much longer and may gain spots in more striking colors. With age, Monstrous Nightmares seem to also grow beard-like appendages under their chin as a sign of age.
Abilities & Weaknesses
Abilities
Climbing Monstrous Nightmares are excellent climbers on both chains and many different types of terrain shown to be able to climb mountains and Viking catapult towers as shown in the first film. They can also climb against stone/metal walls while running quickly.
Kerosene Saliva Young Monstrous Nightmares drool excessively as babies, as many species do. However, that drool contains the kerosene gel that coats the scales and makes it very volatile.
Weaknesses
Flame Loss The true weakness of this dragon is losing their flame as well as their fire burst protects them from hypothermia that could make this dragon become very weak and they can easily die from this. Symptoms include flaky skin, pale coloration and inability to light up.
Turning in Flight Due to a Monstrous Nightmare's long tail, they can't pull up in time when charging in a full speed dive. They are very fast when running in straight line but bad at making turns.
Behavior & Training
Personality By nature, the Monstrous Nightmare is fearless and proud. They are some of the strongest dragons around and they know it. Monstrous Nightmares are very aggressive. In battle, they are said to be the first to arrive and last to leave.
Incendiary in temperament and short on patience, Monstrous Nightmares would incinerate first and think second. Training The best way to earn the trust of a Monstrous Nightmare is simply to show it the respect it deserves. Placing a gentle hand on its snout and showing you are not a threat to it is the best way to go. While Nightmares are generally tough, tenacious and rebellious, mutual respect and trust will certainly help both parties in the long run.

Physical Description
Short Description While these nocturnal, bat-like dragons may not seem menacing on their own, Night Terrors are a formidable force to be reckoned with when united. Night Terrors are incredible fast and strong fliers and their ability to take the form of a larger dragon makes them a great threat to potential predators. As a result, they are quite useful as sentries of Dragon's Edge. Similar to other dragons who travel in packs, the Night Terrors respond to an Alpha, a slightly larger white dragon who is leader of all the others. Without the Alpha, the strength of the Night Terrors is lost and they become easy prey. Physical Features
Double nasal horn
Horn under chin
Short fattish tail with four or more short, thin spikes on it
Colors
Black and dark green
Physical Description
Egg
Night Terror eggs are small and dark in color. They have a wavy, thick, dark green fin surrounding the egg and it resembles the shape of the Night Terror's tail. They have patterns similar to its fin on its shell. The purpose of this fin is unknown. Alpha Terrors' eggs are white in color. Hatchling to Adult
Night Terrors are small dragons that are slightly larger than the Smothering Smokebreaths and the Terrible Terrors. Each individual Night Terror is black in color, except for the Alpha. When they group together, especially at night, they appear to be all black in color and they form the shape of any large dragon. They have small teeth and a rounded tongue. They have two small horn-like ledges on top of their nose. They also appear to have a short tail with four, short, thin spikes attached at the ends. Titan Wing
Titan Wing Night Terrors are larger and their main body remains black while the horns and the end of their tail become blue. The ledges on top of their snout is longer and more wrinkly. Blue horn-like structures grow out of their neck and head and their claws grow sharper. Also, their whole tail is longer and appears to be sharper.
Abilities & Weaknesses
Abilities
Flying Together Night Terrors are able to fly closer together in order to form the shapes of larger, more terrifying dragons for protection. This behavior resembles that of European starling or certain schools of fish, who fly or swim together in order to appear larger so as to scare off predators. Each swarm has an Alpha who controls its fellow dragons and instruct them to form certain formations and often takes the spot of the dragon's eyes.
Fire Breathing A single Night Terror breathes an admittedly small blast of fire. However, when a swarm of these dragons fires, the little shots can turn into a massive fireball.
Dragon Controlling The Alpha Night Terror can lead smaller Night Terrors, organizing them into a formidable flock that appears to be a larger dragon when posed with the threat of oncoming predators. Without the Alpha, these Terrors are susceptible to other dragons like Changewings as they cannot function as a team.
Intelligence They are able to form the shape of other dragons, making themselves look bigger. They even figured out their own way to get rid of the Fireworms by forming themselves into the shape of a Fireworm Queen. It is possible they had never seen a Fireworm Queen before, but they had the idea to make themselves look like a large Fireworm, hoping they would be followed by the smaller Fireworms.
Speed and Agility Night Terrors are incredibly fast and strong fliers, especially when they are together in a swarm. This makes sense as moving in swarms, especially that of the shape of a dragon, which as a streamlined body, reduces air resistance and allows these dragons that form the body instead of the head, to travel faster.
Weaknesses
Night Terrors are incredibly weak on their own, as they have very small fire blasts, not much strength and are very scatty and jumpy without their leader, so by capturing the Alpha Night Terror you could probably take down the whole flock.
The Night Terror's disguise as a larger dragon would easily fail during the day, as a predator could see the white of the Alpha and the outlines of all of the other Night Terrors in the daylight. This is why Night Terrors are nocturnal.
Albino Night Terrors are afraid of the sunlight as they are cave dwellers. They were also unable to withstand clanging sounds until they got used to them.
Behavior & Training
Personality Night Terrors are nocturnal dragons that live as a colony. They also have great respect for their Alpha. Training Night Terrors are highly trainable dragons both individually or in a group. Night Terrors are seen being trained to do simple tricks like fetch, trained to utilize their natural alarm instincts to protect Dragon's Edge, and trained to form various shapes in a group.

Physical Description
Short Description Secretly responsible for centuries of human and dragon conflict, the Red Death used its commanding presence to order other dragons to raid nearby villages and bring it a constant supply of food. Similar to the Bewilderbeast's ability to bend other dragons to its will, the Red Death emitted a honing signal which summoned other dragons to its lava strewn nest. This call was produced by a combination of sub-vocal ululation and the fearsome stare of its many, many eyes! Physical Features
Clubbed tail
Three pairs of eyes
Massive size
Head frill
Bumps and warts all over body
Colors
Wedgwood blue with red spikes and peach belly
Physical Description
Hatchling to Adult
The Red Death is a gigantic dragon species, only being surpassed in size by the titanic Bewilderbeasts. Based on the only individual seen, a Red Death's head is heavily armed with a nasal horn, a coral-shaped frill, and with jaws that are lined up with huge, needle-like teeth. Red Deaths possess three pairs of eyes that give it little to no blind spot. Their coloration is mainly a grayish blue with an orange underside, and their enormous bodys sport coral-like spines as well as red spikes that give this dragon species its name. The tail of a Red Death is tipped with an ankylosaur-like bludgeon that can be used as a devastating weapon. Despite their gargantuan size, the wings of a Red Death are more than large and strong enough to give the dragon a full-powered flight
Abilities & Weaknesses
Abilities
Commanding Similar to the Bewilderbeasts, Red Deaths are an alpha species and are capable of enforcing smaller dragons to obey, even against their wills. Like bees, the queen howls sub-vocal homing signals that reach miles away to call up minions. It is unknown how powerful this ability is compared to a Bewilderbeast, and so far, a Red Death has only been seen forcing other dragons to go to its nest.
Vacuum Being dragons of titanic size, Red Deaths possess the ability to have a massive intake in the air and "suck in" victims inside its mouth. The vacuum is strong enough to pull in even swift and maneuverable dragons such as a Deadly Nadder in mere seconds.
Magma-proof Skin Red Deaths also have Magma-proof skin, since one was seen living in the corona or magma chamber of a volcano and suffer no ill effects after continuous and prolonged periods in direct contact with the boiling magma.
Tail Bludgeon Red Deaths possess a long tail that ends in a round formation studded with sharp spikes, enabling them to use it as a mace or bludgeon to swing against targets such as rock formations or opponents, causing devastating damage.

Personality Residing in the chamber of an active volcano with a Red Death, the dragons, known as Brutes, are enslaved and forced to serve injurious parasitism from the Red Death. Unlike other massive dragon leaders like the Bewilderbeast or Foreverwing, the Red Death is said to rule via force instead of righteous good, often depicted as the dictator of the dragon world. She rules with no mercy, willingly consuming one of her dragon subjects if they fail to provide enough food for her.
Short Description It's quite hard to catch sight of this swift dragon, who prefers to remain at a distance from Vikings and dragons alike. Known to travel among the many clouds littering the bright blue sky, the Silver Phantom can become nearly invisible when flying. This ghostly dragon is also considered to be one of the fastest flying dragons, as it can reach extremely high altitudes to the point where the air can start to thin. Although this may not be the safest route for a Viking, this brisk dragon is sure to be of help in any race. Don't let this Stoker Class dragon intimidate you! While their appearance and strength can be alarming, they are quite calm and serene and can be great companions! Physical Features
Diamond-shaped wing lobes
Thin neck
Small Head
Spines along neck to tail
Single pair of long horns
Broad wingspan
Ghostly blue glow
Colors
Purple and white
Physical Description
Egg
The Silver Phantom egg is oblong and smooth. The egg is purplish-grey, albeit with a few blemishes. It also has a consistent tessellation consisting of lighter green shapes all around. Hatchling to Adult
The Silver Phantom resembles the Typhoomerang and Timberjack albeit with a shorter snout and longer horns, as it shares a thin neck, broad wings, and small head. This species has a row of small spines that run down its neck to the tip of its tail. True to its namesake, this dragon's scales are purplish and silver in color, and due to the bluish glow radiating off it, the dragon appears to be 'ghostly'. Unlike most dragons, the Silver Phantom's wings have a rather unique shape. Their wing bones branch into distinct diamond-shaped lobes, completed with a thin and pointed tip.
Abilities & Weaknesses
Abilities
Camouflage Silver Phantoms are said to soar high above the clouds, away from humans. Their colors allow them to blend in perfectly with the sky, seemingly invisible from below.
Flying at High Altitudes Due to the need to fly above clouds, Silver Phantoms have adapted to be able to fly at extremely high altitudes and breathe in thin air.
Speed Silver Phantoms are said to be some of the fastest dragons in flight.
Firepower Silver Phantoms can produce lovely, lethal fire shots that explode upon impact. They are bright blue in color, indicating their high temperature.
Weaknesses

Short Description It's best not to get in a Singetail's way. These territorial Dragons can blast fire out of their jaws, gills, and tails! Sneaking up on a Singetail is hard enough, but finding its weak spot during battle is nearly impossible! Physical Features
Two sets of wings
Gills
Articulated eyes
Flat body
Three rows of spines along back
Colors
Orange with red spots and purple chin
Green with brown spots
Yellow with red spots
Red with purple spots
Physical Description
Egg
Singetail eggs are oval-shaped and orange with red spots. They have a pock-marked texture, mimicking flowing lava. Hatchling to Adult
Singetails have a wide, flat body and a long tail. They have four wings, like a Thunderdrum, but with the bigger pair being set lower on its back. They have a spiky face with chameleon-like eyes that allow it to see in multiple directions, as well as several big, sharp spikes along their backs and tails. Titan Wing
Titan Wing Singetails are pinkish with dark purple stripes on their wings and back. They have increased a lot in size and have also developed another row of spikes along their back.
Abilities & Weaknesses
Abilities
Eye Movement The Singetails' eyes can move independently one from the other, which allows the dragons to see two different directions simultaneously. Their eyes can also swivel to the back and sides of their heads, giving them a 360-degree view which resembles that of a chameleon.
Firepower Singetails can shoot fire from not only their mouths but from their tails and bellies as well. Their stomach fire is achieved due to the gills that line their underbellies. They often use this as a defense from those attacking underneath. The fire that the Singetail produces is scarlet and can be used to mark their territories or as a signal to call for reinforcements from its own species. Singetails can also use the fire from their bellies to temporarily boost their speed like a rocket.
Weaknesses
Altitude Singetails cannot fly at high altitudes, not even Titan Wings. This serves as a route of escape if being pursued by one. The reason for this is likely because the higher up birds go, the denser the air becomes and requires more physical effort to keep flapping their wings, so the Singetails with their large body and double the number of wings of most dragons and the positioning of their wings may make it harder for them to fly.
Neck When their necks are pinched in a certain spot, Singetails fall unconscious/asleep.
Flower Vapor A Singetail can be put into an inebriated slumber by letting it breathe in a pleasantly perfumed vapor created by slowly cooking fragrant wildflowers with its own body fire. While in this sleep state, Singetails are completely harmless, with Vikings being able to approach, touch, or even sleep with their head resting on the dragon with no danger of being attacked.
Behavior & Training
Personality Singetails are fiercely territorial and will fight any dragon or human that they consider a threat. They are aggressive towards any dragons that are not their kind. When they are not busy fighting or marking their territory, Singetails can be very lazy. They eat and sleep all day if they are not disturbed. Singetails are exclusively carnivorous, their favorite food being the Ice-tailed Pike. They also prefer to live on non-volcanic islands.

Short Description Watch the skies, Vikings! These diminutive dive-bombers retreat to their larger dragon cousin's wings when they feel overpowered! The Small Shadow might hunt in packs, but it's still a fearsome foe in 1-on-1 combat. It's agile, intelligent, and unerring in aim. Physical Features
Row of triangular spines along the back
Four spines on tail tip
Rounded head and snout
Colors

Physical Description
Egg
The eggs are round shaped with two small spikes on the top. They have blue patches all over with red lines between them. Hatchling to Adult
Small Shadow Wings are medium-sized dragons with iridescent greenish-blue and indigo scales and wings, as well as light undersides. They have rounded heads, triangular fin-like spines on their backs and tails, with long, black claws on their feet. Titan Wing
A Titan Wing Small Shadow is extremely brightly colored, with almost all colors of a rainbow. It is mostly red, but sports orange scales and its scales recede to a yellow, green, and blue shade towards its legs, edges of its wings, and rear. Its claws are bigger. It has more triangular spikes on the tail. It now has small spikes on its back legs.
Abilities & Weaknesses
Abilities
Wall Crawling Small Shadow Wings can climb any terrain such as cave walls, using their long sharp claws to grip on the surface. They can even stay on a vertical wall facing downwards without problems.
Dive-Bombing Small Shadow Wings are one of the few dragons which can dive-bomb. They do so by letting themselves fall headfirst with their wings stretched out, so that they can stop at any time if they need to.
Firepower Small Shadow Wings can shoot fireballs of lava that sometimes bounce off other objects before they explode like fireworks. This lava can eat through trees in a few seconds. They are usually quite accurate in aiming their shots. They shoot these fireballs in a high arc, like a mortar, and unlike most other species of dragon.
Weaknesses

Behavior & Training
Personality Small Shadow Wings are highly intelligent pack hunters. One dragon pretends to be injured to attract any potential victims while the rest wait to ambush. They have formed a symbiotic relationship with the much bigger Large Shadow Wing. The Small Shadows serve the Large Shadow, and the larger dragon protects the smaller ones in return. While chasing prey, the Small Shadows will force prey into narrow caverns and chase them down, if the victim attempts to fly away, the Large Shadow will gather the other Small Shadows and shoot the prey down.

Short Description Only half the size, but twice as unpredictable! This small Stoker class dragon can be too curious for its own good... and yours! A Terrible Terror may be tiny, but its rapid-fire fireballs pack a lot of punch. Physical Features
Arrow-shaped tail tip
Small spines
Small horns
Large yellow eyes
Colors
Varies (Body color with highlights on back and pale belly)
Physical Description
Egg
Terrible Terror eggs are usually light green, though its color depends on that of the dragon inside, and is speckled with smaller spots. The egg can be called round but the shape of it is a little jagged and the roundness is not as smooth as other dragon eggs. Hatchling to Adult
The Terrible Terror resembles a Common or Garden Dragon in appearance. It has an iguana-like body, two pairs of horns, one pair of wings, and a tail with a barbed tip. It comes in various colors, with green being the most common. Others are red, orange, blue, yellow and purple. Its physical attributes (such as the type of horn and spinal ridge) suggest that, despite the size difference, it is closely related to the Monstrous Nightmare. Its large yellow eyes and small size make it one of the most adorable species of dragons. Titan Wing
Titan Wing Terrible Terrors are reddish brown in color. They have developed larger, black horns on their head and bigger eyes, thus giving them a more 'devilish' appearance. They have larger spines on their back. Their wings possess dark brown spots and they have a small, pointy, arrow-shaped tail. These Titan Wings have grown slightly larger, though are still small compared to most dragons.
Abilities & Weaknesses
Abilities
Singing It has been revealed that Terrible Terrors have the ability to 'sing'. The Dragonpedia mentioned that flocks of Terrors often keep the residents of Berk awake with their chirps, squawks, and growls. They often sing when they gather in large groups.
Strength and Combat Terrors are very social creatures and can be found in packs most of the time. And though a single Terror cannot do much damage to an opponent, a whole pack is a different story. A pack of Terrible Terrors is a lethal threat that is best avoided.
Weaknesses
Although Terrible Terrors are strong in packs, lone Terrors are actually very weak and can be defeated by one fire blast. They also try to pick fights with dragons a lot bigger than themselves and this often doesn't end very well.
Behavior & Training
Personality Terrible Terrors are shown to be very mischievous, as they like to play with Vikings and other dragons. They often travel in packs and they can be quite aggressive and over-ambitious. They tend to pick a fight with larger animals, though they mostly get defeated. Terrible Terrors are also very curious creatures and they can be found in unexpected places. They will eat just about anything they can digest, therefore can be found in any environment in the archipelago. Training They also seem to be fairly easy to train. Giving them a light to chase can help out for training as this could be great beginner dragon for young Vikings. Or another way of training Terrible Terrors just to feed them. As long as you prove to be of no threat to it, Terrors are easy and docile companions.

Short Description Don't touch! This dragon can secrete a poison through its skin when it senses danger. The only problem is the Threadtail is allergic to it too! It spends most of the day rolling around in Dragonberry bushes to relieve the itching. The Threadtail's unrelenting flames will destroy anything in its way. Physical Features
Large crown-like head frill
Bumpy skin
Colors
Bright yellow with pale blue
Bright pink and purple
Deep blue with bright green
Physical Description
Egg
Similar to a Snifflehunch's egg, a Threadtail's egg has several lobes at its side. The eggs are usually cyan, speckled with brown spots. The color of the egg also defines the color of the dragon. Hatchling to Adult
This dragon's overall body shape seems to be most similar to that of the Thornridge. Long and often colorful dragons, Threadtails have strong necks and tails, as well as a broad wingspan built to take full advantage of the winds and updrafts. They have a prominent frill on the back of their long-jawed head and a ridge of spines along their backs and tails. Their legs are slender and built for running with shorter and denser claws than many dragons of similar size. Titan Wing
Titan Wing Threadtails generally turn a bright shade of orange and tan. Their crowns develop sharper lobes and an increased number of spines line their back and snout. The spots on their wings also fade, giving way to less distinct stripes radiating from its wing bone.
Abilities & Weaknesses
Abilities
Poison Threadtails can produce non-fatal toxins through their skin to ward off enemies. One of the effects of this poison is that it causes the victim to experience painful convulsions. The poison of at least some Threadtail individuals smells like marzipan. This defense mechanism comes with a price, for the poisons trigger an allergy and cause the dragons' skin to itch and they can have roll around in Dragonberry bushes to relieve the itch. Coarse sand, cold water, and cold wind can also ease their itching.
Firepower The Threadtail can breath normal, yellow fire, which can be held in its mouth to illuminate dark places. It can also produce green fire which does not come out in powerful flames, but instead spreads out slowly, like a mist or a fog.
Purple Mist In addition to its flames, the Threadtail is known to emit a purple mist.
Weaknesses
Allergies Threadtails are not immune to their own poison, instead they are allergic to it so they spend much of their days seeking dragonberry bushes to relieve the itch on their skin. The coarse sand and cold water of the beach and the cold winds of the sky can also be soothing.
Behavior & Training
Personality Threadtails are territorial dragons, and they will protect their homes and their allies at any cost.

Physical Description
Egg
The color of a Typhoomerang's egg determines what color the dragon will be. The egg looks rather unique, as it has swirls all over its surface. Hatchling to Adult
Typhoomerangs are very large dragons, and they come in a variety of colors covering the whole spectrum. They have two large horns and orange eyes. They look like a mix-breed of a Monstrous Nightmare and a Timberjack. Titan Wing
Titan Wing Typhoomerangs look almost exactly like their adult counterparts, with few differences. A Titan Wing Typhoomerang is mainly black, with some grey patches around its wings. The tip of its horns and parts of its belly, as well as their wing fingers are colored red. Their legs also have red claws.
Abilities & Weaknesses
Abilities
Firepower The Typhoomerang's fiery breath resembles a giant tornado that can burn anything in its path except for those that remain right in the middle of it. A single shot of these flames spread continuously for several seconds, and reach hundreds of meters from the dragon's mouth. Typhoomerangs can launch into the air and fire their flames in a spiraling manner, which they use to surround and trap foes and potential prey. The flames spiral closer and closer until they eventually engulf and scorch the target.
Sparkle Shower Typhoomerangs are also able to emit a shower of sparks from both their mouths and backs. The display is almost as dazzling as fireworks, and can be produced during flight, by adults as well as juveniles. These sparks leave burn marks in the ground, which may reveal how old the dragon is, how big it is, and where it went — similar to the rings in a tree.
Strength and Combat Typhoomerangs possess immense strength, which combined with their large size and weight make them one of the strongest non-Alpha dragons known to Vikings. They can stop forest fires with the flaps of their massive wings, and uproot trees simply by walking into them. They can also effortlessly carry large dragons such as Hideous Zipplebacks on their backs while showing signs of strain or effort.
Eel Consumption Being immune to Eel Pox, Typhoomerangs are able to consume eels without suffering any of the ill effects caused by the Pox, making them one of the only three known species capable of eating eels.
Shot Limit Recharge Due to reasons unknown, consuming an eel recharges a Typhoomerang's shot count or increases their shot limit by an unknown amount, making them one of the few dragons that are able to recharge their shot limits immediately.
Ash Fertilizer A Typhoomerang's flames leave scorch marks on the ground, which apparently increase the fertility rate of the surrounding ground, enough so as to stimulate increased plant and thus flower growth in the area.
Weaknesses
Due to their large sizes, adult Typhoomerangs have trouble making sharp or sudden turns while in flight, needing more time to coordinate their moves, with failure to do so often resulting in their crashing into nearby obstacles or landing prematurely.
Behavior & Training
Personality Typhoomerangs are high strung, hot-headed and passionate dragons, and are extremely protective of their offspring and rather territorial. They use their spiral jets of flame to mark their territories, or as mating displays. Typhoomerang younglings tend to grow up very fast. Typhoomerangs tend to sleep and rest in caves and caverns that litter their forest home. Also like most dragons, they protect smaller creatures by folding their wings tightly into a cocoon-like casing. When hunting for food, Typhoomerangs use their flame vortex to trap and kill prey. In addition, Typhoomerangs have been known to hunt for aquatic prey (eels in particular) by skimming the water's surface and snagging their catch with their mouth. Training Training a Typhoomerang is easiest when the dragon is young. As a baby, they are rather impressionable and trustworthy. However, if one manages to successfully catch its attention and prove that they are of no harm, the Typhoomerang will slowly bond with them.
